Perhaps true though the Sauds were worried about external forces even before this death-they are building a wall and there's a significant military presence on the borders. Internally there are ISIS sympathisers, and succession is a time of susceptibility.

Hell 3 LBS of C-4 on a 3,000$ drone is just as good as a $500,000 missile...

Agreed - if there were sleepers or saboteurs they'll be activated quickly. Unless ISIS is racing to the border with everything they have right now, the Saudi's should be okay, unless of course it's something more substantial from say, Iran or even perhaps Yemen on their southern border.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Yeah I noticed that while viewing his wiki page, he was the successor, and on hitting refresh he was King. I bet it all went down before the announcement was made.

Why would anyone be? A ruler who had absolute power, ruled through theocratic rule, ruled under extreme Wahhabi Islamic Law, human rights abuser, allowed virtually no freedom in his country, possible links to ISIS and other forms of terrorism. Why would anyone morn this? I mean **** his country and regime is comparable to the hermit Kingdom DPRK when it comes to human rights and justice...
