Unfortunately we had 2 RCMP Officers shot- 1 minor injuries released from hospitial, the other, head shot, no hope really- they are waiting for family to arrive. He is 42, 3 kids. Sad.

Damn, prayer all around. Been a Leafs fan my whole life but I have to admit that when I lived in Alberta, I pulled for the Oilers every now and again.

I left St. Albert back in 93 so I wasn't there when you got there. Dated a girl that caused me to move from Sudbury, ON. Yeah she was THAT hot.

    Enlighten me.

Harper's got us in Iraq. Why? It ain't playing here.

He has just run advance on a new trade agreement with EEC, said to be a blue print for a latter, pact with the US.

And I doubt anyone will have as frosty relations with the US as did Pierre. I covered Ottawa in those days, none of us was the least surprised when the Watergate tapes revealed Nixon calling him "that Asshole".

We could never document it, but a few of us clearly heard Trudeau refer to Nixon as a "thug" early on, but we had no corroboration, just like "fuddle duddle".

Keystone XL is a major irritant, Harper has no trouble calling terrorists terrorists or calling islamofacists terrorists too, Harper calls out Putin on a regular basis while Obama keeps kissing his ass and slow walking it, Harper is moving on trade with Europe and Asia because of the Obama obstruction, and Harper is a serious conservative, not quite what Obama looks on as friendly - and in six plus years, how many Obama/Harper confabs/meetings have there been?

Not as bad as Nixon/Trudeau, but as I said, the worst since then.
