Supreme Court to take up same sex marriage issues in April

Let me ask you this: Can you say about any SCOTUS decision that you do not like it because of personal preference but nevertheless it is the right decision?

Quite possibly this one. If SCOTUS does indeed strike the compromise position where A) states are free to define marriage as they wish but B) have to recognize each others' issuance then I will be in the position of A) still thinking that marriage is between a man and a woman but B) recognizing that SCOTUS has made the legally correct position within our federalist system of government.

Well, I don't need to defend myself here, Scalia is widely known as one of the intellectuals on the Court. So go ahead, prove that's he's not, prove that he's an idiot. I'll wait. Anyone trying that will likely prove that they are one instead. Let the comedy begin!

Even Scalia says that Windsor and Lawrence require same sex marriage to be legalized.

Antonin Scalia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Appointed to the Court by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, Scalia has been described as the intellectual anchor for the originalist and textualist position in the Court's conservative wing.

LOL! Look what I found in about 2 seconds. As an aside, maybe you shouldn't reply 95% of the time with "LOL!", it portends a lack of thought.

He has been described that way.

Obama has been described as highly intellectual also but I suspect you disagree.

That makes him the court intellectual for the jester wing of the court....

You will think A) still regardless of what the court rules. That's why this "sky is falling" opus from the RR is simply mass hysteria. It ain't gonna change your views. It ain't gonna affect you. It will *only* affect the gay community. You really don't deserve a say in the matter at all

Actually, they all get along personally, while not agreeing on things politically. That is what grown ups do.

There is nothing grownup about standing against equality, so take it up with scalia
