Obama vows to ‘play offense’ against GOP-led Congress

So Romneycare doesn't require a big bureaucracy? Tell me more about how it doesn't, and then tell the people of Massachussetts. They love a good laugh.

What price do you pay for Romneycare? Your ignorance of states' rights is staggering. The people of MA chose Romneycare, the people of the U.S. Rejected Obamacare

Your second citation confirms what I said earlier, dude.

Of course, you still didn't answer the question of how Gruber "represents liberalism," you just barfed up some nonsense about Obama. Obama doesn't represent liberalism either.

Liberals always appeal to the ignorance of their base by appealing to their hearts instead of their brain. Gruber was caught saying what liberal leadership believes, the results of liberalism tell it all.

Bothers you doesn't it that one of your own made a dumbass statement that really told how liberal elites feel about their supporters?

Funny how he wasn't "one of ours" when he worked for Romney.

I feel bad for Gruber. He was just some guy and now his name is a conservative buzzword.

Of course offense means obstructionism. He's lost his shield that Harry Reid was holding up. He's now forced to do his job and sign off or on laws as the President should have always have been doing. I expect the veto pen to be used often and I expect it to hurt the Democrat Party's 2016 hopes and dreams every time it's whipped out. America is so tired of obstruction and division. Why can't the President just act like a President for once?

You still don't get it, do you. What happens in MA has nothing to do with a national program. ACA is national, not local

Sure thing.

It seems to me that republicans do a lot of obstructing themselves, especially when it comes to voting rights. Also, the Republican leadership met on inauguration day, 2009, and agreed to obstruct anything Obama tried to do. Even McConnel, for the record, said that Obamafail was their number one priority. So yeah, I'm tired of the obstruction practiced by republicans at the expense of we the people.

McConnell's statement was in 2010 not after election day. Republicans had no ability to obstruct anything as Democrats had total control of Congress and in fact had a filibuster proof Senate part of Obama's first term. I find it amazing how poorly informed many of you are and how you change the term obstructionist to mean not supporting the change in the U.S. economy Obama wants so it is more like Europe. You saw how the stimulus failed because of the role govt. spending plays in the U.S. economy but still ignore it. Obamafail has worked well by Obama

Just like a liberal hoping for misery to those you disagree with. TX economy isn't dependent on oil and has become very diverse, something you do not understand but I do understand people like you who are part of the problem never part of the solution

BS! Oil is the life blood of Texas.

Interesting how it speaks differently to those who actually understand his record not the made up one you want to claim. On every thread you divert to Bush showing how little you understand of basic civics and then of course economics is a foreign subject for you. The legacy of Obama will live on forever as well and the next GOP President is going to have a severe mess to clean up.

How ironic is it that Con would be the first one to speak up in response....the epitome of what Kobie was speaking about. Too funny! Some people really will continue to try to put lipstick on a pig!

Your opinion noted, what percentage of the TX GDP is oil? Glad to see you have that typical liberal compassion

But for all its oil, the state of Texas relies less on oil than either North Dakota or Oklahoma. The 2013 gross domestic product (GDP) for the state totaled $138.76 billion, and of that total $16.19 billion (11.7%) comes from the natural resources and mining sector that includes oil and gas production

That would be the Obama economic supporters based upon actual numbers, wouldn't it?

Only a liberal believes generating 7.6 trillion in debt to create 1 million more employees than were in the market place 7 years ago is economic growth and a success. Only a liberal believes it is the government's role to grow the U.S. economy because only in the liberal world is redistribution of wealth fair

If only the Chief Executive would address the growing threat of islamic terrorism with the same vigor and bravura as he displays when dealing with the GOP.

Americans are more likely to die from lack of health insurance than to die from a terrorist act. So far, less than 3,000 on American soil died from terrorists since 9-11. Approximately 5 million Americans died from lack of health insurance since then. Yet we recklessly spend trillions on a small problem like terrorists, and complain about the cost when someone calls for healthcare for all.

Spoken like a true socialist who believes that American choice only matters when it comes to murdering the unborn not when it comes to purchasing what a liberal thinks they need. Healthcare is a choice and many choose not to have it, not because it isn't available but because they don't want to pay anything for it or have enough money to fund their healthcare needs.

Obviously you have never read the Constitution to let me help you, it says PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE and PROMOTE Domestic Welfare. Do you understand the difference between PROVIDE and PROMOTE??

This is an utterly pathetic statement.

Con is obsessed with this Gruber guy.....even more infatuated than he is with GWB. I suspect Gruber is going to show up at his avatar soon!

Even as you say that even you must realize all of your accusations are baseless. The GOP hasn't really obstructed anything. That versus Harry Reid who literally put a blockade on the Senate. Furthermore the GOP has never endangered voting rights. Obamacare is a problem and many Americans, including myself, cannot afford it's high premiums. I don't have health insurance, nor currently do I have any income (cant find work in this job environment), and ill still be levied a fine that i cant afford because i cant afford healthcare. So I applaud the GOP for taking on Obamacare considering the financial burden it places on Americans.

There was already trillions in debt when Obama entered office. What was that spent on?

Guess this is hard for you to understand too, GW Bush has been out of office now for 6 years, Gruber helped write policy that is effect today. Apparently you don't understand the difference. Sure wish I knew what GW Bush did to hurt you or your family that has generated this much hatred. All is nothing more than a diversion from the failure of "your" President. Admit that you made a mistake and we can move on.

Funny how those eight years of misguided war and economic devastation have just vanished down the rabbit hole.
