There wasn't terror before 9/11? Oh yea, some of them were our buddies.... But hey, I get it, for some deranged reason you think we can defeat this by waging a war. Well I think the two wars that we (supposedly are done fighting) proved that war only increases terror.

First off I'll address both posts here, if that's ok....To the first post, I don't know who
"Vision of Humanity" is, so if you have a more credible, recognizable link that would help to understand where you are coming from.

I assure you I am not "deranged" and if you continue to thrown those pejoratives at me, then you can talk to yourself. But, we were not the ones that started this...We were attacked, remember?

Oh wow. Since you dont know who they are, therefore they are not "credible"? Well Vision of Humanity is apart of the Institue for Economics and Peace. Its a pretty well known NGO. The release a report each year measuring conflicts, terror, and peace. They release reports studying terror and peace, causes of it, recommendations to lessen conflict and terror, etc. The report I linked was the Global Terrorism Index.

    I never called you deranged.

But, we were not the ones that started this...We were attacked, remember?
Do I remember yes. Whats your point?

Are you going to answer the substance of my post?

Ok, thanks for that....Weren't they the ones that Jimmy Carter endorses? Not that this matters much, other than it would be interesting to see if any other complete failures like Carter in geo political matters endorses them as well...I also notice that the UN uses them quite a bit, so if that Star Wars barroom collection of human rights violators endorses them then I remain skeptical of their recommendations, and reports.

    I never called you deranged.
No, but you said I was employing 'deranged thinking'...A distinction without a difference if you ask me.

Do I remember yes. Whats your point?
My point is that doing nothing in the face of an attack on our own soil that took 3,000 innocent lives not only deserves a response, but warrants one. If you think that doing nothing after something like that is even a choice, then my friend you don't understand the enemy.

Are you going to answer the substance of my post?
Well, I was first trying to understand where you are coming from so that you don't spend the next 25 pages saying that I am not addressing your point...But, as with most, I see that even getting that will be an exercise in futility, and double speak, so to tell you the truth, I don't have the energy right now for that....So, either you will say it plainly, and clearly, or I'm out. Thanks...

One of their studies. You gonna try to debate the substance of their statements or not?

.I also notice that the UN uses them quite a bit, so if that Star Wars barroom collection of human rights violators endorses them then I remain skeptical of their recommendations, and reports.
So youre not gonna debate anything substantial? Just gonna make the, "well some people I dont like are on their Wikipedia page so therefore the source is wrong no matter what" card?

    Cool beans

Point to where the study I quoted says "a state attacked by terrorism should have zero sort of military response"? Hell in the section under "force" it states "military force should be used less".. Not zero.

Say what? I already answered all your questions...

Ok, so the Obama administration just throws someone in jail forever without any evidence and you just want to take the Obama administration's word for it that it's necessary. The same administration turning the IRS into a political weapon, you're just going to accept their word that some guy is a terrorist.

Interesting that you trust them this much.

People are imprisoned indefinitely without trial and the Obama administration wont tell you why, but you have concluded that transferring those prisoners to another country's prison somehow puts me at risk.

Lets see if you can figure this out. I promise I will take it slow for ya....if we have several leader types representing terrorists locked up. Does that Reduce or Increase the Risk of Harm to our people?

Who said they were leader types? What evidence did they present that this is correct?
