For tossing this woman out because she wouldn't set a wedding date on their time table is, while legal because she did sign a contract, cold and heartless.
They gave her ample warning so I think it's fair. Don't forget the reason why she didn't give them a date: she wanted a big wedding.

We've all heard at some point the saying: Hate the sin, not the sinner or "Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum, which translates roughly to 'With love for mankind and hatred of sins.'" It's a concept that is throughout the New Testement, like in Matthew 6:14, John 8:7, Romans 3:23. All too often Churches are stuffed full of judgmental and what I consider "fake" Christians who are either led astray by inadequate and misinformed Church leadership or who have no idea what Christianity and the gospels actually mean.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Oh yes, big weddings mean she's totally unreasonable and something. Church fired her for not making marriage on their time table. It's their prerogative, but throwing this mom to the curb for that is cold and heartless.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

I don't think it matters. You're suggesting to hard core righties that Christians aren't always 100% wonderful people.

If she is a decent person then she was going to be unemployed as a stay-at-home mom anyway so no loss.

    is that right?
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

Oh , apparently I missed the post where you explained why this church is only enforcing ONE (of a few?) examples of christian "religious law", and ignoring all the other violators of same said laws.
