Well when you throw out a number like that about oil leases in national parks you really need to source it.

Reaganomics (/reɪɡəˈnɒmɪks/; a portmanteau of Reagan and economics attributed to Paul Harvey)[1] refers to the economic policies promoted by U.S. President Ronald Reagan during the 1980s. These policies are commonly associated with supply-side economics, referred to as trickle-down economics by political opponents and free market economics by political advocates.

Low paying service industry jobs and the GOP wants no "credit" for that.

Wages are down in case you have not noticed.

" U.S. jobs pay an average 23% less today than they did before the 2008 recession, according to a new report released on Monday by the United States Conference of Mayors.

In total, the report found $93 billion in lost wages.

Jobs lost during the recession paid an average $61,637. As of 2014, jobs in the same sectors paid an average of $47,171 annually.

“Under a similar analysis conducted by the Conference of Mayors during the 2001-2002 recession, the wage gap was only 12% compared to the current 23%–meaning the wage gap has nearly doubled from one recession to the next,” stated the Conference of Mayors in a statement.

Wrong! They can't do that now precisely because we have that capability to produce so much oil of our own.. They no longer have us over a barrel. If they lowered production it would be a good thing because oil would stabilize at 50 bucks a gallon which is 2 buck gas at the pump. They are not doing so because they want oil in a free fall in order to shut down US production. They have declared war on our oil companies and want their monopoly back.

It is what it is, which is probably more reliable than any other media outlet.

I already knew more than eyebrows would be raised when a link posted to Al Jazeera on DP. Now the cons can go to the drug store and purchase their Maalox or Excedrin and use as directed.

Mainly because the following view them as a competitor, and is largely dismissed by cons and right wind media and their followers who slurp up lies like it was pablum.

The channel, which was launched on August 20, 2013, directly competes with CNN, HLN, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, and in certain markets

To a degree, sure. OPEC was artificially keeping prices up, and increased production in the U.S., Canada and elsewhere has increased supply. However, global demand is also dropping precipitously, which is affecting other commodities markets.
