Assad's Secret: Evidence Points to Syrian Push for Nuclear Weapons

Evidence Points to Syria Still Working on a Nuclear Weapon - SPIEGEL ONLINE

According to findings of Western intelligence agencies, however, the situation is much more explosive than previously assumed. Based on documents that SPIEGEL has in its possession, the agencies are convinced that Assad is continuing in his efforts to build the bomb.

Analysts say that the Syrian atomic weapon program has continued in a secret, underground location. According to information they have obtained, approximately 8,000 fuel rods are stored there. Furthermore, a new reactor or an enrichment facility has very likely been built at the site -- a development of incalculable geopolitical consequences.

If Syria wasn't the target of media assassination by the West and funding and arming of rebels this might be slightly believable. We all watched the false flag poison gas used by the rebels blamed on Assad with the MSM perception management stenographers. Looks like more of the same.

Syria gets the bomb, Iran gets the bomb, Israel has the bomb, Saudi Arabia will buy theirs from Pakistan who has the bomb..
North Korea either has the bomb or will have the bomb.. proliferation is the way of the world.

Long term it's worrisome but there are SO many worries I just cannot get too worked up about it..
everybody gets the bomb has been in the cards for quite some time

What? But Assad is a reformer! The road to peace in the Middle East runs through Damascus!

    In part, the article states:

Israeli leaders would be faced with the impossible decision between ignoring Zamzam or undertaking an extremely risky attack against a facility built deep underground. In contrast to 2007, bunker buster bombs would be required, with unforeseeable consequences for the environment. It would be an irresponsible decision, but one which Israeli hardliners could ultimately make.

If Israel believes the facility would pose an existential risk to Israel, the decision to destroy it would be anything but "irresponsible." Israel is not obligated to accept a situation that could risk its demise. Doing so, would be the irresponsible decision.

Needless to say, there's a lot of uncertainty. Intelligence will be required before any decisions are made.

Syria has been working with the north koreans to get nukes for some time. Operation Orchard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Its not really a stretch to find that they continued the attempt.

Your link has lots of info from 2007, nothing current. Absolutely nothing that
would support the current unfounded perceptions being bandied about by the
    MSM.

My point was to show that Syria only recently attempted to weaponize nuclear material, and that its not too far off base that they still are trying.

My point is unchanged. It is rumor not truth. I don't trust the MSM stenographers and neither should you.
