Michelle mounted an 18 character attack. That was highly effective, except the girls haven't been brought back. Lol.

re: Muslim worker at Paris kosher grocer saved customers from gunman by hiding [W:186]

I wonder if you can see how ridiculous you come across. You cherry pick a few examples of the BILLIONS of Muslims and claim it's happening EVERYWHERE. Sound familiar? Sound sort of like the people that suggest that terrorist acts are actually representative of ALL Muslims?

And no...I don't frequent Muslim homes. I doubt you have either. I did spend 4 years in 7 countries throughout the ME and can honestly say that open condemnation of Fundamentalist extremists was never EVER on display.

Gee, I wonder why. Maybe because fundamentalist extremists would KILL people who openly displayed condemnation. It's quite easy to say "why don't they publicly protest" when you don't have car bombs blowing up your neighborhood.

Nobody said it would be easy.

oh come now. We are only talking about a handful of extremists...right? 4...5 tops.

There's a billion Muslims. They can't take on a few terrorists?

re: Muslim worker at Paris kosher grocer saved customers from gunman by hiding [W:186]

The common refrain heard from the kneejerk defenders of Islam is that the VAST majority of Islam stands in opposition to the very miniscule, almost unworthy of mention, infinitesimally tiny virtually non-existent faction of fundamentalist, extremist Muslims. Now...you and me...we KNOW better. We know there are LARGE...VERY SIGNIFICANT numbers of extremist fundamentalists and that they find safe havens in Muslim countries and population groups around the world and you bet...those Fundamentalists would absolutely target 'Muslims' if they dare to take an aggressive and terrorist stance. Thats why fundamentalist extremism is growing. Thats why it is spreading across the globe. Thats why something has to be done about it and why posting a tweet isnt going to cut it.

Easy for you to say when you don't have a gun in your face.

Also cute that you're using that quote of mine in your signature when it's already been shown to you where it came from.

That's not the common refrain. That is what we call a strawman. Absolutely nobody is making the ludicrous claim you posted that it's the entire Muslim world against four or five people (even if that was hyperbole). Obviously there's enough radicalized Muslims for US to crap our pants in fear every time one of them acts like an asshole -- how do you think normal people who live where these nutjobs do, who are just trying to get by in life feel? Even if it's 1 in 100 or 1 in 1,000 who's a murderous crazy, that one person is enough to blow up a market.

Again, it's very easy to sit here from the relative safety of U.S. soil and criticize Abdul Bag-O-Donuts for not doing HIS part to criticize people who can blow up his house tomorrow if they want to.

"Posting a tweet isn't going to cut it." And if that's all anyone was doing, that might be a valid point.

Is there any evidence that fundamentalist extremism is "growing," or, rather is it simply becoming more organized?

You call someone a moron, then mispell moron...that's golden!...LOL!

Hmmm...I suppose for you the best answer IS to hide then. Maybe send out a tweet every once in a while.

He's kinda torn. Obviously. They arent doing anything...but only because they are afraid of being killed.

All the Libbos are torn. First, we hear about what the Muslims are doing, then we hear that they, in fact, aren't doing anything and as you pointed out, because they're afraid of being killed.

From what I understand, Muslims aren't afraid to die; if so, they should be standing in line waiting for their turn to kick a terrorist's ass.

That's a rather nonsensical response that doesn't address one word I posted.

Oh...sure it does. But its all good. Really...we kind of agree. Weboth agree they arent doing **** about it. You think its because they are cowards, I think its because the majority of them sympathize with them. (and by sympathize, I mean the same way people on this site do. "Its 'wrong'...but gosh, they deserve it for saying mean things")

If one day you get depressed then you might join the 80% who put a gun to their own face.

He was quoting a facebook teabagger moron who couldn't spell it. Nuance isn't your thing.

re: Muslim worker at Paris kosher grocer saved customers from gunman by hiding [W:186]

There are in fact individuals within the Muslim communities that speak out, always after the tragedies.
.

Well, it's not like they have preknowledge of what's going to happen. Yeah, they say it after the tragedies. So does everybody else who wasn't in on the planning.

He never will. He'll probably tell you it was a liberal plant.

re: Muslim worker at Paris kosher grocer saved customers from gunman by hiding [W:186]

Or, is it about personal attacks?

You're going to cry about personal attacks?

"Hello, pot? This is the kettle. Guess what?"

Who on earth is saying this?

You think it's "cowardly" not to risk imminent harm to yourself and your family in the face of radicals? Again, easy for you to say.

Im simply pointing out that Libbos are incapable of making an argument, without insults. Your post help prove that.
