He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    Hyperbole much?

What they could do is join the coalition in a leadership role and use that giant military they spent $billions to build, and go fight ISIS with all their hearts. But that won't happen because SA basically breeds the ISIS types. If Saudi Arabia declared war on ISIS, that would mean a lot.

Get back to discussing the topic. Your back and forth "You lied!" "No I didn't!" "You lied!" "No I didn't" slap fight can be taken to the basement. Move on.

Percentage of terrorists who would put their religion as "Muslim" would be very high. Percentage of attacks that were "part of the Muslim faith" would be closer to zero.

You're attempting to place blame where it doesn't belong for reasons I don't know. Are you in favor of eradicating Islam as a religion? Should Obama bomb all "muslims?"

Many feel that hundreds of millions of poor Muslims in the world (many of whom don't even have the internet much less running water, see Pakistan, Bangladesh and Singapore) should deny funding to islamist organizations. Should your average mestizo Catholic come out of his mountain to oppose the pedophilia of 6,000 priests? The lack of perspective on this issue is quite dumbfounding. You have way too many people who simply believe that the average Muslim is just thinking about terrorism anymore than they are. The reality is that the majority of Muslims go about their day just like we do. They're at their 9-5 desk jobs, their farms, their fruit stands, their whatever, and they're not really all that politicized. However, there is a fallacious standard being applied to the average Muslim. They're supposed to give up what they're doing, so that Westerners can feel assured that they don't support it - even though - the evidence shows that they don't. We even had a poster in this very thread asking for a confirmed number of Muslims who oppose terrorism. If that doesn't show a general lack of perspective on the issue, I don't know what will.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

Perhaps you should look up the term Jihad and then try to explain how it is not related to Islam.

The precarious position that the Saudis are in has always been one of the hardest rocks internationally. Saudi power would not last such a war, their own people would get rid of them. We both know that they're between a rock and hard place when it comes to this. The downfall of the Saudis would be a disaster as far as US foreign policy over the last 30-40 years is concerned.
