    All conjecture.
Well you obviously seem to know everything that happened there, can you describe to me minute by minute those for missing minutes? What transpired in the four minutes between the end of the 91 one call in the beginning of the confrontation with Zimmerman?

j-mac, I don't know how they do things in that backwards ass state called S. Carolina, but in the real Carolina, when we make a claim we back it up.

You said I (and liberals in general) don't respect the justice system and want lynch mobs. Please back your statement up, or continue looking foolish per usual.

I am not a native of SC, so you insulting baiting goes right off my back....As for liberals wanting lynch mobs, all you need to do is look up the recent threads about police failing to be indicted, and the postings within from liberals...Come on, get real.

You said it in reference to me. You said:

"At some point you libs are going to have to accept the Justice system even when you don't like the outcomes.... You guys really make me think that the only thing that would make you happy are lynch mobs."

So your entire argument is that if I think there is an injustice in the system that I want lynch mobs? And you think that's an intelligent comment?

    You're embarrassing yourself, j-mac.

You said that you thought that Murder II was too high a hurdle, and that you probably wouldn't have convicted either based on that...then I said they should have called you for advice, an implication that you think you know more than the prosecutors in charge of the case. Then you got all pissy, and asked a confusing question of whether I thought Murder II was too high....I answered that by saying that prosecutors often charge the highest they can to include lesser charges...That wasn't good enough for you....So just what the hell do you want?

So youe reasoning to say that I think the prosecutors should have consulted me and that I want lynch mobs is because I think they over-charged Zimmerman? That's genius, j-mac. I guess for all of your terrible opinions on politics, all of our congressmen and women should be calling you. Or is it that we're on a debate board and we're supposed to be sharing our opinions, eh genius?

And the reason I think it's important that they overcharged Zimmerman is because they present evidence and argue points differently based on the charge. They spent a lot of time focusing on GZ's intent and trying to prove that he was racist and intentionally killed Trayvon. Whereas, if they went for a more reasonable conviction, the argument would have been more focused on his recklessness.

Now, since we're on a debate board, you can respond in kind with a counter-point, or you can just continue to hack it up. Your call, friend.

Another zimmy thread that goes back to rehashing the Trayvon Martin case. I too have my opinion on that one, but it's not the subject of this thread except in terms of Z's propensity toward violence.

I think that is the point. His past behavior (even predating TM) set up his current issues.

I do not think we have seen the last of him.

Well, regardless of the how's and why's, we know he killed Trayvon Martin.

And I agree there are some things about that case that seem to have bearing.

But that he killed him - justified or not - certainly is the key piece of info.

I've read that once someone has killed someone, future murders are much easier. Don't know if that's true.

But his actions since that case are certainly worth analyzing. He didn't exactly fade into the woodwork, which is where most of us would have gone.

I think one thing that adds to his behavior is the fact that many excused his behavior too much. I think it can make him feel righteous in his actions. While his actions may have been legal....but I do not believe he ever REALLY accepted that it was his behavior that caused the situation.

So he has a cheer squad behind him at a time when his ego sorely needed a tune-up. Not a good combo.

Still not sure that the new story has any merit - another he said she said?
