Training Grenades Thrown at Mosque in France

Perhaps the leaders of the French Mosques were being targeted for condemning the "barbaric" acts?

"France's Muslim leadership sharply condemned the shooting at a Paris satirical weekly that left at least 12 people dead as a "barbaric" attack and an assault on press freedom and democracy, AFP reports Wednesday.

"This extremely grave barbaric action is also an attack against democracy and the freedom of the press," the French Muslim Council (CFCM) said in a statement.

The body represents France's Muslim community, which is Europe's biggest and estimated to number between 3.5 million and five million people."

We'll still continually hear "Muslims need to publicly condemn acts like this!!" daily here at DP.

They need to do more. Thats just reality. But that they came out immediately condemning the terrorist act is commendable. I mentioned that yesterday.

This happens with every attack. What else do you want?

Indeed, and if this is the only blowback, the islamist radicals in that nation should consider themselves lucky.

Blowback against innocent people just creates more radicals. This was exactly the response that these radicals are looking for.

Actually they are looking for the press to silence themselves. Ive only seen leftists on the forum blaming free speech and freedom for the attacks.

And they are looking to recruit more to the cause.

A terrorist attack on a mosque lets them justify their actions. "Look what these westerners do to us. You should help us fight them."

Well the neighborhoods are not even safe for non-immigrants, and while I dont condone this-I do understand it.

You can be as understanding of terrorism as you like, and apologize for it all you like. That's your right.

To harass, terrorize, and attack a bunch of innocent Muslims? You think that takes "nutsack?"

You might as well save your breath. It's only Muslims and many don't see them as worthy of anything other than condemnation and hate. There was a post over in the EU forum a couple of weeks ago where there was an arson attempt on a Mosque in Sweden.

Look at the views. Look at the comments.

Enough said.

From what this report says, thankfully there were no injuries. This happening mere days after the shooting at the French shooting I think it is important to say that attacking innocent people as an act of retaliation for attacks against innocent people should be condemned.

It is condemned by those who aren't hypocrites and have common decency.

Innocent until proven guilty is the 5th Amendment that refers to a TRIAL. Not an actual event.

What if the grenade was thrown because the "attacker" knew that the individuals were somehow involved? I ask again, how are you connected to this investigation?

Even if thats true, its still vigilante justice which is wrong. And since this mosque is nowhere near where the terrorists are currently being hunted it makes no sense that they would be there or that this mosque would have anything to do with them.

The French take terrorism very seriously if there was any reason to suspect this mosque they'd be there with police

LOL, this reminds me of a buddy that had a case of dummy/training grenades.
Couple times people would cut him off in traffic and he would roll up next to them, get them to lower the passenger side window, and toss one in their car then haul ass.
I hate to admit, it was funny.

Then surrender.
History has not been kind to the French.
At Dunkirk, many French Soldiers died protecting the British evacuation.
One British officer compared them to the last stand of the Spartans.
We see people with the signs Je Suis Charlie (I am Charlie)
Let's hope that does not change to "Je Suis Charlie mar-to"
Read up Charles the Hammer.

These types of actions are understandable...People can only take so much of this crap before they decide that governments are being subverted, and not protecting them anymore from these barbarians....In France there are about 700 'No Go' zones where they can't go into, and are ruled by Shria courts...I'd see this as a take over of my country if I were French, and then to have them perpetrate acts like this? Oh, hell no....Some in here have posted that the Muslim Leadership condemned the attacks on the magazine, well, good for them....But, until they start preaching to their congregations that teachings of caliphate, and demonizing western cultures and countries to radicalize members is against the teachings of the Koran, then this type of denouncement is very little...I would remind those defending Muslims that Taqiyya is a common, and accepted practice in Islam...And what is that?

"Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."

There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them."

TheReligionofPeace - Islam: Taqiyya and Lying

So you all will excuse me if I don't take what they say at face value...Anyone can say anything, it is action that speaks, and I don't see any real action from Muslim's that would say to me that they are interested in reeling in the radicals.

I'd like to see a real response to these horrors too.
