    There are changes.

You have to look at the new image blown up. I haven't seen it but they're saying there are new jets that are shooting out of the Nebula at 400 thousand miles an hour.

It's very impressive and fascinating. I can't help, however, seeing several "faces", kind of like Jesus on toast or Mother Teresa on a dried apple. Do there people see these?

    Elvis is everywhere man.

I heard he was holed up in some hotel somewhere with Jim Morrison and D.B. Cooper, just waiting to pick their time when they would announce to the world their death was all fake!

Either that or we're an all-you-can-eat buffet for the nearest hive of carnivorous space bees.

    They change over time.

These were not taken on the same date.

Your confusion stems from a lack of proper grasp of the scale of the things we're looking at. 60 billion miles is like a quarter of a percent of the length of the largest pillar in that image.

Space is... pretty ****in big, man.

Kind of sad that they don't exist any more. Neither will we see their destruction for another 6000 years. Space is weird.
