Kim Jong-un himself said that his people did not organize the attacks. Yeah, not exactly a trustworthy source, but it lines up with the statements the experts have given. NK doesn't exactly have to lie about it given its protection from China.

Basically we only have the U.S. government's say-so that this was a NK attack, when it doesn't have the best credibility these days.

Heya NL. I think the poll on people trusting what BO has to say. Was like 60% believing he would lie.

Re: NK did not hack sony, according to security experts

All this is, is two prominent security gurus questioning the story. The statement "NK did not hack Sony" is purely speculation. The evidence released is weak and ambiguous, secret unreleased evidence supposedly tells the tale. They also lament that they believe an inside job is most likely.

I would be really surprised to find out the U.S. so openly and confidently condemned NK if they weren't extremely sure. I'd be even more surprised to find out this was all a lie perpetrated by our government???

Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

    Greetings, Northern Light.

North Korea is now the leading headline? North Korea? What's new with ISIS, or Al Qaeda, or AlShabaab, or many others? Nope, they've all been handled, right, so we don't need to worry about them any more. The ME is now peaceful, but North Korea is now the big problem du jour? Uh huh, okay. Thanks, MSM, for keeping us so well informed about world events. Fascinating to watch how they operate....

I don't question their expertise. Even experts, when examining a relatively small sample, can reach incorrect conclusions. That's because the sample in question wasn't representative. The largest amount of information--and more than just computer-related--remains classified. It is that information that provides a strong degree of confidence that North Korea was responsible. Launching the first retaliatory cyberattack is precedent-setting, and it is highly unlikely the U.S. would have done so or indicated it would do so (with a proportionate response) without fairly conclusive evidence.

I don't believe they did either. I think Americans were just 'Grubered' again.

It was just a gimmick to get people to go see a stupid movie that would've otherwise bombed.

    Seriously?

Read up on the gulf of Tonkin incident and see if the govt would prematurely condemn a country and then stay the course on it.

The problem with your rush to judge the FBI is your so called anonymous experts are not saying they don't believe it was NK; they are saying it may not be.

You do realize your constant digression to disparaging comments about the president ruins any unbiased credibility may have right?
