I'm just telling you who is handing it out. Do I need to draw a map too?
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

If there is free money at the end of that map, then yes. Otherwise, it'll just be a map that leads to your ****ty arguments.

Only to someone with no clue how the Democrats operate. Open your eyes for once.

So, how about it? Are we becoming more selfish? Is this lashing out like depicted in the story a result of people feeling like they are being too tightly controlled? What say you?
I think this is mostly in your head. I think your parents would have said the same thing about your generation, and so on, and so on. We have a tendency to tinge all of our memories with nostalgia and to hyper-focus on the worst things that are occurring at present. The world is richer, more peaceful, less crime ridden, and more advanced than it was when you were a child (or when I was a child for that matter) but we rarely stop to acknowledge that. Likewise to the question of whether or not people are becoming 'more selfish' I don't think so at all.

More empty rhetoric. You guys need a new set of buzzwords or something.

The empty rhetoric was all yours. My point is based in fact. I'd love to see you try to dispute the fact that people in general feel far more entitled today than they did in the past.
