Outraging Russia, Ukraine takes big step toward NATO

That is very true. However I will still take my western views over a country that controls it's media with an iron fist.

Fair enough. That is an honest response.

Perhaps you can see so clearly that you can see that. Perhaps you don't know what you are talking about. I lean towards believing the latter.

I lean toward the former. :)

Like I said, Russia is not going to leave Ukraine just like the US is not going to leave the Middle East. It's not going to happen.

We ARE leaving and HAVE left the Middle East. We no longer occupy Iraq and we have all but pulled out of Afghanistan. If our economy was going down the ****ter like Russia we might have left sooner.

No the US is still in the Middle East. Never left.

Just as there is no one who can make the US give Texas back to Mexico, there is simply no one who can make them leave. No one. That is true now, that will be true after Putin is gone. It's not going to happen.

Not a good comparison. The annexation of Texas is ancient history. Totally different time period and mindset.Besides no one expects that Crimea will go back to Ukraine.

That's the point. Crimea isn't going back. That isn't a statement that is the result of trying to support Putin. That's reality.

I wonder has anyone in Europe or the US thought out what's going to happen in Ukraine when the Greece like conditions take firm hold. I think it's going to greatly empower the ultra-nationalist, Nazi like elements in Ukrainian society. That could mean bad news for the EU.
Every nation in Europe has ultra-nationalist movements as does Russia and the US. But it is disingenuous to promote this segment to represent the entire population. In the 2014 nationwide Ukraine elections, the far-right political parties garnered less than 2% of the national vote.

While I think that they are not as powerful as Russian propaganda would have one believe, I think it is also a great mistake to underestimate their numbers and the influence of that type of ideology in Ukrainian society. To illustrate this point we need only to recall the leaked phone call of Tymoshenko in which she appears to express open hostility to ethnic Russians in Ukraine, and she is not someone that would be labeled a ultra-nationalist. One can only imagine what the ultra-nationalist elements discuss in private.

That's an old racial slur, you probably know what it means.

For those who do not know what it means, here it is

The Racial Slur Database

While it can be a slur, it is not necessarily so. It's something like the "N" word. In certain contexts it is indeed a slur, in certain contexts it is a term of endearment. When I use "high yellow" to describe a black woman, it is certainly a term of endearment.

BTW, I apologize for saying that. I probably should not here, but that is the truth, at least how I see it.

Here's another one of Miss Graham if you don't believe they are the prettiest. WOW!!! Good morning folks!!!!! :lamo

Well I obviously I know better than yourself. Carry on though. I find yours and some other posts here quite amusing as you defend Russia.

I'm trying to defend, or at least expose, the middle.

The middle position.

The US presents one extreme, Russia presents the other.

The truth is usually found somewhere in the middle, if you know what I mean.

That's a very poor comparison. Was France ever a part of the United States?

It doesn't matter if they were or were not. They are not now. The past is irrelevant because they are FREE.

Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose... ;)

That's not the only time a pretty girl changed the outcome of a battle.

Of course not. Many examples of it. Therefore one should never, never underestimate the power of the influence that women have on men due to sex.
