Joe Cocker has died aged 70

Bummer

Jack Bruce now Joe Cocker

His version of "A little help from my friends" at Woodstock is burned on my mind. I remember watching that as a kid and thinking, "Wow. I bet the Beatles wished they did Joe's version." RIP Joe - sing an encore with Jim Belushi, God will love it!

John Belushi.

So sad. An era is dying off. The really big thing will be when Paul McCartney goes. Hopefully that won't be for a long time. He's 72. But hopefully he takes care of himself and will last as long as Bob Hope. McCartney is a vegetarian. Don't know if that helps.

Personally, loved Joe Cocker. A great singer, not so much. But an impactful and soulful voice that always moved you.

Gotta love the truly unique entertainers and sadly miss them when they're gone - RIP.

So many in my lifetime have passed. I am so fortunate to be born 66 years ago and immediately get in to the birth of R & R. The countless songs, concerts, parties and all memories good. Still love it today as I did as a child. "rock and roll will always be it'll go down in history".
