N. Korea threatens strikes on us amid hacking claims

As if the US is not capable of annihilating his capability overnight.

After a US preemptive, there'd be nothing left for the North to attack with.

I disagree, Seoul, and the suburbs in particular would experience hundreds of thousands of dead, maybe millions.

Thread: N. Korea threatens strikes on us amid hacking claims

Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up preppin'.

He'd arty Seoul and perhaps even self-nuke. He's nutbag enough to take the kingdom down rather than hand it away. He doesn't have a kid yet, right?

There are 100K pieces of artillery aimed BEHIND seoul, so they can cut off the escape before they kill 10 million people. Its intended to cause that many casualties, and its close enough that nukes wont wipe them out.

Nonsense. As soon as those "SF" units got across the border, they'd defect. NK is practically using vacuum tube computers and its military is malnourished, spare me the leet ninjas BS.

You can NOT disregard them because they are backwoods, so are Al Qaida. NK sneaks into taiwan as a right of passage, they are not to be underestimated, especially after decades of indoctrination.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- President Barack Obama is "recklessly" spreading rumors of a Pyongyang-orchestrated cyberattack of Sony Pictures, North Korea says, as it warns of strikes against the White House, Pentagon and "the whole U.S. mainland, that cesspool of terrorism."

yawn.

Beige.....I wonder if i should repaint in beige.'

The other option is coffee white....

any ideas?

:lamo First off the DPRK did not "threaten to hack into our movie industry", they "threatened to strike the USA". Did you even read your article you posted?
Second off the North Korea has always made threats, not just under Obama as POTUS.

This tells me you lack basic reading comprehension skills-read my comments again, and then defend noko.

not worried about them,we have a military to beat them, nato has the power to beat them, russia and china in all their grandstanding shy away and cover their face when north korea acts up,they treat it like that retarded cousin that you dont want to be seen around but have to cuz its family.

further japan has been ready for a while to implement a full military to combat north korea,as one of north koreas targets has been japan.japan has only had a small defense force army due to the fact asia is scared of them after ww2.japan has the power however to create a full army if they deem north korea as an imminent threat, which wont take much, most of north koreas long range missle testing has been aimed at hitting japan, not simulations i mean they actually tried to hit it.

Perhaps half of it works and it could all be obliterated virtually instantaneously.

Its mostly in the DMZ or buried in complexes that would be hard for either nukes or airstrikes to hit. Its only been a ceasefire, and they know how to avoid our attacks. Mountains are harder to defend.

NK's gear is old and poorly maintained. A massive cruise missile and bombing would render the arty virtually gone. As a preemptive, with follow-ups, NK could do little to nothing.

Thats a bit simplistic. They have had 60+ years to figure this out.

60 years to figure out how to defend against a military beyond their comprehension doesn't help much.

Go back and read my thread starts-Im well aware of the routine, but this cyber warfare is new, and they are emboldened by our weak leader. They probably see what happened in Cuba as evidence our chump potus will cave.

What happened in Cuba? They threatened the US? I must have missed that on the news.

I'm trying to figure out what the conservative position here is. North Korea would kick our ass in a war, therefore we must start one? Bush's plan, which apparently was to remove them from the list of state sponsors of terrorism and watch them become a nuclear power worked out really well?

I think Bush actually did the right thing with them, but now it's bad that Obama's using the same playbook?

Yup they say they did not hack Sony's movie and as a result they may strike us at any time.

Hmm. Nigeria and Denmark also claims that they didn't hack Sony, so should we expect them to strike us?

Exactly. When republicans do something, it's in the best interest of the country, but when dems do the same thing, it's to destroy the US. If you would spend more time watching Fox News you would know these things.

It's the Swiss we've got to watch out for. Their army has knives with corkscrews and tweezers.
