U.S. Links North Korea to Sony Hacking

The OP article said the hackers were N. Koreans but they seem to be located somewhere in China.
 
I thought that America had learned that it does not pay to be critical of China in any way. It is not sensible to go back to this China are cyberterrorists nonsense. Do Americans really want war with China, Russia and North Korea? Probably should shut up about China then. If China is an enemy then go to war tough guys. I bet you dont.

And does anyone really care about a Seth Rogan movie? I am pretty sure that he has lost the stoner demographic. Did anyone catch his recent outing with Bette Midler? HA! WTF? (I loved Beaches.) Is it really hip to make lame North Korea comedy these days? Who wrote this lame script anyway? Parker and Stone? Does anyone still watch South Park? Those guys are more popular with the Tony Awards crowd these days.

Anyway, how would America react if China or Russia made a comedy about killing President Obama? Would that be funny? You Americans have a retard culture. I am not shocked that North Koreans are offended by this script and I am not shocked that this has caused problems. Sony are an irresponsible company. And racist by the sound of it.

Nobody would have cared about this stupid movie and I dont think many care about it now. Seth Rogan is a retard and not funny. He sucks. Tell him to go away. Hey, reckon Seth Rogan and that guy from the Spiderman movie actually do have a connection to the CIA?



Bette Midler is way cooler than Seth Rogan. Remember Outrageous Fortune. That was a good movie.

While I like Bette Midler, and think she's hilarious (my favorite was Ruthless People) - I don't think I would classify her as cool, any more than I would classify Seth Rogan as cool. He only really has one target demographic, and that's men, I would say 14 - 35. I didn't even like the guy when he was on Freaks and Geeks, for the same reason I don't like him now. He always plays the angry slob.

Sony will probably lose 50 million plus, if this movie never releases. My question would be -- who greenlit this project? Who thought that this would be funny, and a good idea for a movie? Did somebody just see Judd Apatow coming, and start throwing money at him, without ever really looking at the script?

I mean, whether he is capable of nuking us or not, the guy has been pissed off at us for a long time, and has threatened to nuke the West Coast almost ever since he took over in power. I have to wonder who the genius was who thought it was a good idea to do something like this.

I am not a "techie", but I would say that the computer people are already working on strengthening controls. They will close this barn door after the cows have already left.
Unfortunately, future advances in computer tech will require advances in security and controls. It is perpetual. Hackers will always try. Especially if they are paid to try.

Well, now that the precedent has been set, I can imagine that there'll be ever more persistent and aggressive hacker attacks on nations and corporations for whatever agenda or extortion temporarily fancies the hackers.

Another step down the path to info-wars with the general public Internet users caught in the middle.
