Cops kill cow after wild chase through Pocatello's north side

What you are not understand is that animals like the rabbit were put on this earth to be eaten.

Why is it OK for wolf to eat them but not a human.

As you think we are animals, why differentiate between the two?
No one was "put here" for anything as far as we can tell so far. I already explained what the difference was. Humans know better than to cause violence for no reason, and we do not need to eat other animals to be healthy.

That's called being facetious.
LOL! Really? So you WOULDN'T care about cows if they started protesting? Doesn't that seem bigoted to you?

When all else fails pull the race card?
No, your logic fails and so I drew a comparison which indicates how faulty it is.

I'll tell you what... the day that cows start organized protests I'll lead the charge to free them from bondage.

No, your lack of logic was put on display and you thought you'd try to throw a smoke screen by injecting race into the discussion. Way to cheapen the civil rights movement. I'm sure that all of those who have struggled for and died for equal rights for a couple hundred years won't mind.

Well it's seemingly the case that you devalue at least SOME human life if you do not apply these ideas to those who can't speak on their own behalves.

"It's delusional garbage". LOL! Why, because you say so? Please explain why it's just IMPOSSIBLE to apply what we do to each other to other animals.

Because they are dinner, not humans.

'Where's the beef?'

The 'Eat more Chickn' ads don't count!?

As for your next point, there are many alternatives to the use of chemicals you are listing. They might not be available to the wide populace quite yet, but that is because no one is asking for them!

What Vegan or Veganic Farming Actually Looks Like: Huguenot Street Farm (Video) : TreeHugger

The issue of using petroleum and other chemicals to farm is certainly a concern but separate from the issue of the using other animals for food. The importance of finding alternative sources of energy and reducing our overall population come into play here, but don't think for a second that I don't consider all of it to be necessary for our future. I will say that if other animals are merely around to help benefit a plant-based agriculture instead of being exploited for their flesh and secretions that this would be an acceptable outcome for many and is certainly better than nothing.

Actually, the two are not entirely separate issues, at least, not on a farm. Intellectually, you can be reductionist about it and think about the two separately, but to the farmer it's the sum total of all the costs and all the benefits of something that determines if it is a sustainable practice. The farmer can't afford to look at only the money he's going to take in selling his birds for meat. If the birds can also reduce his need to purchase insecticides (because free-ranging the birds will reduce the insect population) for his veggie crops then the farmer has to take that into account or else he'll price the meat too high and drive down sales

I see, so it's NOT about the fact that they aren't human? Make up your mind Jack.

LOL! You're so "suspicious". Quit trying to get into my head, it only makes you look foolish. If your reasoning for disregarding cows and other animals is because they aren't human then I fail to see how it's any better than a racist's opinion who disregards other humans simply because they have the wrong skin color. Get it? Species is irrelevant. You're basically writing them off due to their appearance and genetics.

Rabbits were put here to be eaten, which is why they reproduce so fast.

If nobody ate rabbits, the world would be overrun with rabbits and everybody would die.

Please don't be blind.

Meat provides protein, which helps brain function. If you are OK being weak and a little dull, that is fine, not everybody is.

What!? You will eat Thumper?

You really have no shame.

I will, in a heartbeat. Rabbit gumbo is one of the finest meals I've ever had.

Never had rabbit, and it ain't on the list.

All it says is "the cow" over and over. The cow didn't have a name?

We should name the cow out of respect.

OK, we will call it

BIG MAC

Cows are going extinct?

Which of those critters "tilt the soil?"

You're not a farmer, are you?

If you can't distinguish between "till" and "tilt", you really have no credibility to question anybody's knowledge of farming.

And chickens, ducks, rabbits and a number of other animals till soil.
