I predicted to my wife last night that the Aussies were liberal incompetants and that 3 to 5 hostages would be killed. Was only off by one.

I wish that the government offical that signed off on this Islamo-fanatatic to immigrate there would be identified and publically humiliated.

It's done by Christians too when some members of the Christian community freak out and kill people. It's done to distance themselves from the carnage. They don't want to be seen as responsible. If they really didn't like it, they would have taken steps to throw these people out of their religious community before anything happened. If they really cared, they'd have already excommunicated extremists from their ranks before bad things went down. But they don't. This is just damage control.

Actually they no longer need to be rescued. Although I'm aware that atheists like yourself don't give a crap about reality.

That's a general statement for all the times the crazy religious get on their knees to their imaginary friend instead of getting on their feet and actually doing anything useful.

The Grand Mufti might have stepped in earlier when this guy faced 50 charges of indecent and sexual assault during his time as a 'spiritual healer'. He also appeared in court for sending hate-filled letters to the families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan. It's very Christian to turn the other cheek and feel good about ourselves for being so forgiving towards those who murder innocent people, and this seems to happen whenever Muslims commit terrorism.

The Muslim community always seems to get more sympathy than the families of those who were murdered.

In this case, nothing, which is exactly what prayer is. Nothing. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done and that simply has to be accepted. There are plenty of cases where people can do things, yet instead choose to get on their knees. That's pathetic.
 
They have pretty strict Fun laws in Australia.

I wonder if they're going to reconsider changing them after all this ?

Makes me glad to be American and to have the Right to own a pistol.

Prayer does do something. It helps those whp have been affected by this tragedy cope with their loss.

If thats all it does then it's well worth it.

Ahh its the "more guns means less shootings" crowd. Awesome philosophy there. Blame this on their strict gun control laws. How many school shootings have they had down there the last couple of decades? I mean, if you are going to criticize the gun laws for that one shooting why not take a wider and more comprehensive look at shooting results eh?
