ISIS Ransoming James Foley's Remains for $1m

ISIS is reportedly trying to sell the body of U.S. journalist James Foley, who was executed by the terrorist group in August, back to his family for $1 million.
Three intermediaries, who say they have links with the Islamic fundamentalist group and are in charge of negotiating the deal, have told the online news outlet Buzzfeed that ISIS would provide a DNA sample in advance to prove that the body was Foley’s. They also said that the exchange would take place across the Syrian-Turkey border.


However, according to one of the middlemen, a former Syrian rebel fighter who says he was approached by ISIS to mediate the deal, the Islamic State want the money before the body is handed over.
“They ask for $1 million, and they will send DNA to Turkey, but they want the money first,” the source told Buzzfeed. “They will not give the DNA without the money.”

God forbid they did not water board him or deprive Foley of sleep like us demonic Americans would have. All they did was kill him.

If this is true (and i have my doubts), their demands should just be ignored. Don't even give them the satisfaction of a no.

His family have suffered enough already and they will continue to find their way to deal with his Death on their own like they have had to do all along.

I don't care...remains means NOTHING to me.

When I die, I do not even begin to care what they do with my body.

Why people obsess so much about an empty shell is totally beyond me...some archaic, religious thing, I guess. Or some 'I want to be remembered' nonsense.

Every time I drive by a cematery and I have a moment to pause, I think what a galactic waste of money and space. And people actually pay many thousands of dollars for funerals and caskets. And many of these people actually go into debt to pay for this crap.

LOL...seems beyond nonsensical to me. But hey, it's their money.


If ISIS had a loved one of mine's remains and asked me for a ransom? I wouldn't pay dime one.
