Vince Young scored a 6 on his Wonderlick test.

And he has a degree from UT.....

Wow. So Football players, not so smart.

Ryan Fitzpatrick graduated from Harvard. Stop lumping people into one category.

He is a pretty successful one for his career choice. He was a hall of fame end for the Chicago Bears. He was a Superbowl-winning head coach for the same team. He is a successful restauranteur. He is now a successful television football commentator. He is a millionaire many times over from all of this. How about you?

    That's a load of bull****.

I don't know a single White person who thinks this way, mostly because I don't associate with racists. To be frank, the only place that I encounter direct racism like above is on DP and with the occasional interaction with strangers. Thank God.

So if I can't sympathize with blatant racism because I am white, then how I am supposed to feel about it? Please, help me here. Apparently I don't know how to interpret my feelings.

I don't have a problem with the players taking a political stance but, as pointed out already, the symbolism they chose is false. This whole "hands up, don't shoot" gesture does not reflect the facts of the case. If people want to protest or take a stand, fine. But when that stance is based on a lie it can only serve to undermine the cause.

Case in point. Refusing to look in the mirror at the common truth.
