So what though? Mike Ditka doesn't have to deal with the racial problems that the Rams players do. I don't know about you, but I don't listen to the guidance of people who know nothing about what I go through. It's like a man telling a woman that he's embarrassed about how she deals with sexism. His embarrassment is irrelevant.

This has been the most interesting part of the negative comments some White people have been making about the protests around the country. They make these comments like their perspective is worth something to someone other than like-minded people. By now, people should know that it isn't.

Why do you make a statement like that?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, doesn't matter the skin color/sex/what have you. Just because he isn't black, doesn't mean he can't sympathize with the racial problems they face. He faces discrimination that they know nothing about. We have all felt discriminated against at one point in time or another, so we can all relate to how that feels.

White people see a repetitive culture of violence, poor parenting, irresponsibility, celebration of gangsta behavior, and a complete refusal to look in the mirror at those issues.

Then these players, who know nothing about anything, come out and make a statement like this before going to their respective job.

Kenny Britt, crying out loud. He's lucky the league lets him play after his multiple run-ins with the law.

But intelligent enough not to buy into all the false narratives and BS stories that led to the riots and protest in Ferguson.

    Thats not saying much of-course.

After the release of some of the evidence the GJ heard to STILL think Brown was shot with hands up is just retarded.

What the hell is wrong with some people ?

It's pathetically sad that this whole "Hands Up" movement is based entirely on a false premise.

The " Hands up don't shoot " narrative is based on nothing but misinformation.

I would be embarrassed for the players too if I gave a crap.

These are grown Men who are STILL gullible enough to be sucked into lies.

True, Football players aren't the sharpest knifes in the drawer but its hardly an excuse.

Yep, a thug with priors who just participated in a strong armed robbery ( Dorian Johnson ) started the lies and throughout the GJs deliberations received the benefit of the doubt over a Police Officer who was innocent the whole time.

    People STILL buy his BS.

No disagreement here. My problem with his statement is the idea the Ditka can't have a valid opinion on racism because he is white.
