Iranian Airstrikes Target ISIS in Iraq

TEHRAN — Iranian fighter jets conducted bombing raids against Sunni extremists in Iraq last week, hitting targets near a 25-mile buffer zone that Iran has declared along its border, an Iranian politician, American officials and independent analysts have confirmed.

The bombing raids, along with Iran’s support for Shiite and Kurdish militia forces on the ground, illustrate the increasingly open role Iran is playing in Iraq, officials say. But they do not mean Iran is interested in cooperating directly with the United States, they say, even though they are fighting the same enemy and have some of the same allies.

What do you mean what will the GOP do and say now? They can say just about anything, but now do. Its not their call.....this falls back to BO Peep and his Team. His Policy. So its what will BO peep say and do.

Especially now since Iran has delayed the Nuke talks and will attempt to use this as leverage when they return to the table. Wherein BO is desperate to get a deal.
 
ISIS is winning. Even terrorist states are scared.
 
Canada gave India nuclear capability, China et.al helped Pakistan , the Americans gave Iran nuclear capabilty

sorry, I was looking for the memorandum -to sell Iran six reactors-that Bush signed on the last page ...when he was CIA Director. That memo had more interesting detail.

It was the ``Atoms for Peace `program , 1968 I think , that gave Iran the 5Mw reactor , in the pool of water at Tehran University that produced 600 to 900 grams a year of weapons grade plutonium. They shut it down in 05 I think.
Iran was the only country on the Planet that received production year top of the line American Fighters-the Tomcat.

It was a good idea to arm Iran, they were the closest nation formable into or resembling a democracy in the region.
It would be a good idea to arm and ally with them again.
