Ah man, for once we absolutely agree.
Meade 10 inch Schmitt Cassegrian telescope
Ah man, for once we absolutely agree.
That deserves a pic:
I disagree, a lot, with that statement.
What is wrong with it?
Because they absolutely do not have that right.
Maybe you wish they had that right, but they do not have it.
Kennesaw Georgia is where the movie " Deliverance " was filmed.
Those Imams better not mess with those kind Hill folk.
And No Mosque means no future Isis wannabe's.
They have a moral right to protect their community against non-Christian influences.
What is wrong with it?
no it isnt, its just north and west of Marietta. my neice lives there. the movie was up around the border with SC and into SC.
No stuff ??
I thought it was filmed in Rabun County, Georgia.
The River scenes were filmed in the Tallulah Gorge
If someone wants to operate a mosque then the muslims must already be there. knda like shutting the barn door with the cows already gone.
Is zoning inclusive of churches ? How exactly does the council have a say ? Its not like they'll be raising hogs or something and its not a commercial entity. Now I can see where they might not wish to surrender tax revenue that might otherwise be coming from this commercial spot. Only other issue I can see if noise. They like to pipe up the sound system minerettes or no. I've read about communities getting grumpy over that.
They have a moral right to protect their community against non-Christian influences.
They do not have any such thing.
Yes they do.
Compelling argument.
I have the Constitution of the United States of America on my side.
You have "Nuh UH!"
The Constitution does not dictate morality.
No, it dictates that you don't get to inflict your morality onto others.
Not correct. This is how you wish it was, not how it is.
Additionally, this action violates the Georgia State Constitution as well.

all of which are north of Kennesaw. not hundreds of miles but nothing like nearby.
Thank you for proving the point of the OP. "religious freedom for me but not for you guys"
Frankly, it all starts with a mosque.
10-15 years ago Turkish secularists were accused of being intolerant bigots. Now we came to a point where we have mandatory religion classes for 4 year-old kids, segregation in schools, more than 20 mosques in a single neighborhood. I'm sorry but this is the truth.Their demands and self-victimization never end.
They can have as many mosques as they want, I dont care. They have the freedom to worship in this country.
