There's nothing else to discuss on that subject. Ignoring the first amendment because a tiny fraction of Muslims are murderers goes against everything this country stands for. It's criminal, and unconstitutional, and that's that.

Threads evolve over 40+ pages. People wonder if we're willing to take away religious freedoms of Muslims, are Christians or Jews next? Sorry this line of questioning bothers you. But it exists.

You don't have an answer, that's ok. Just say so.

I'm quite accustomed to threads being diverted by the obviously uninformed who have a particular axe to grind. It ruins legitimate debate but is apparently allowed by the moderators in this case so there is little that can be done. So be it.

So what's your opinion on the freedom of religion for Muslims? What percentage of Muslims being murderers makes it ok to take away the first amendment rights of an entire religion?

Yes, thats what Islamic tolerance is, even in a relatively moderate/modern arab nation. During the arab spring they destroyed some of Christianities oldest churches, including one that had been continually occupied and used by its congregation since the 8th century.

All you are doing is trying to lump in all Muslims with the handful of crazies out there. Not all Muslims subscribe to those things you mentioned, just like not all Christians subscribed to what some of the crazies do.

No one said ALL Muslims go along with the crazies but a significant number of them do, adding up to many millions. I would not be associated with any group which abused women, little girs, gays, and so on. If Muslims don't march in the streets to protest this sort of behavior than naturally they'll be lumped together. Instead they protest about 'islamophobia'. What's to respect about Islam or its followers? Maybe you can tell me.
