The comedy starring Seth Rogen and James Franco is scheduled for release December 25. A North Korean official blasted the film as a symbol of the "desperation" of American society in an interview with British newspaper The Telegraph.

Attackers using the name Guardians of Peace, or G.O.P., have claimed responsibility for the hack of Sony Pictures' internal network. The attack began November 24, when employees' computers were reportedly plastered with messages bearing the phrase "Hacked by #GOP."

[h=1]Sony hack: North Korea's bizarre response - was it them?[/h]
So was it them? No one really knows now, but its kinda of suspicious that it resembles cyber attacks on the ROK, and that its coming right before the release of a new movie basically making fun of Kim Jong-Un. None the less is pretty interesting.

The important fact is that they were able to do it.

Meh... if they let Team America World Police slide without incident I don't see why they would get their panties in a knot over this.

Investigating North Korea... hmmm.

Assuming we find something to suggest North Korea did it, what are we going to do? Use harsh language?

If this honestly has to do with The Interview, then NK is even more pathetic than I thought......and they had already set the bar in that.

They exposed budgets, layoffs, and what actually matters, social security numbers.

With Obama in the whitehouse harsh language wont even be used.

Obama is a chump, and this is a way to wage economic cyber warfare from their perspective.

Wanna nuke the DPRK over this? Tell us, what would you do?

Put our Cyber Command to work to undermine the entire NK govt computer system. They should do it anyway, even if NK did nothing.

1.)How do you know that we have not done that in the past? The DPRK never reprots news that is negative about them?
2.)A massive scansions and embargo against their country which helps casue their economy to be **** is not enought?
3.)Wanna look at what is right past their border?

But I forgot: **** OBAMA! *****!

Its funny because its true, isn't it Kobie.

I've never seen anyone with such an unquenchable thirst to attack Obama over everything, even things he has little to nothing to do with. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Its his card man. No matter what, no matter what the issue at hand is, we have to attack Obama. Its his calling card.

Gentlemen, can I help the fact that our enemies are emboldened by a weak POTUS like Obama? They know there aren't repercussions. They are right.

Yeah, because before Obama became president, no foreign entity ever did anything bad.

You're making a fool of yourself.

Yup because before Obama, DPRK did nothing irrational, they were completely rational actors, never threatened the US, never did anything they do now. But again in just one of the many threads I have a discussion going with you, you refuse to answer a question directed at you so Ill ask again (for the 3rd time now in this thread alone): Tell us, what would you do?

What would you do, this is your thread on North Korea's suspect actions. Assuming we can find enough to point the finger at them, then what?

Thats a strawman argument Kobie. Certainly bad things happened before (do you remember 9/11?). The difference is the world can read Obama like an open book and know he wont do anything. And tragically they are right.

More claptrap. You are a one-trick pony.

What would I do? Sit back and laugh at these petty actions... Then if it shows that the DPRK was involved, sit back and laugh even more...

Marxists unite, eh?
:lamo Yup. You got it. Your're right on track. You know lots about basic political philosophy!
