Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

The 97% number is from papers that express an opinion on global warming. I really have no idea why you think papers that express no opinion should be counted in the total. I mean, papers on astrophysics don't express an opinion on global warming either, why didn't you throw those in?

One of the things driving this sort of nonsense is ignorance. On both sides. water temps, pressure, jet stream, etc all play a huge effect on trends.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The authors in the post I quoted referenced the same papers as the blogger who claimed the 97% number.

Weather trends and climate trends are two different items.

    You are talking about weather.

I am indeed. but weather trends including tempuratures, have a more instant effect than long term climate changes. The OP proclaim "hottest year on record", is he talking weather, or climate?

Ahhh, I see your point now. In this case, the OP was talking about both.... the affect of weather on long-term climate.

By the way, I just saw that November 2014 has been ranked as one of the coldest in recorded history.

    Who ranked it? lol

but yeah, climate has cycles, weather can affect the levels of these cycles. Could humans have an affect too? Sure why not, is it as extreme as suggested? I don't think so at all. if it was, according to al gore, alaska would be tropical.

If this wasn't so political, we'd have a better understanding of it.

LOL. November 2014 just ended a couple hours ago. I bet your data sources need to be wiped now. And dont forget to wash your hands.
Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.
