    - The "Hulk Hogan" comment sounds absurd especially when you consider that Wilson is 6ft 4 and is supposed to be trained to subdue grown men. It sounds like something a Lawyer told him to say.

    - In traumatic events such as these it is rare for people to have such clear memories of the situation so I am guessing he is filling in a lot of gaps with witness testimonies and a little bit of his own twist.

-. He talks about looking into Browns eyes and thinking to himself " Can I legally shoot". This one stood out for me as it is unusual for someone to have such clear rational thoughts in what was supposed to be a life and death situation. He was obviously struggling to contain Brown, was under threat and had been attacked. Seems unlikely to me that he would do the "math" in a moment like this especially since he had never fired his gun.

Still believe he was in the right based on the evidence but he would do well not to say much more as it stinks of lawyers speech.
I will say one thing. I have thought the same thing before shooting someone in Iraq. It's not unusual, IMO, to think that way when you are trained over and over to think that way. Police officers are, I'm sure, trained even more that we were for combat as far as Positive ID, justifiable shootings, etc. I didn't think it was something strange for him to consider in the situation. That's just me though.

My point is simply that it's not a good idea to speak publicly about a matter that remains involved in a legal process. Jails are filled with people who couldn't keep their mouths shut when they should.

The underlined and most likely he is the real gentle giant forced into a bad situation.

If I were George I would have asked him...

if you were in your vehicle and in possession of the weapon...and the suspect was fleeing, why did you not call and wait for back up?

Was that part of your training?

If the other suspect did not flee, did you not think "I have one...I can get the other later"?

Was that part of your training.

How was allowing him to testify before a GJ a good move? Did he not have a defense attorney?

Just imagine a murder suspect being asked by the prosecution to testify to the GJ unchallenged as to the events of the incident...The GJ who is to determine whether to indict you or not.

    Just unheard of.

Maybe he is naive or doesn't watch much news.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

The answers to your questions would be evident if you knew something about GJ testimony and proceedings.
