Nope. But I don't make determinations about the character of people before they've had their day in court. Only one of us can make that claim.

You're making the determination that not all of them are justified shootings. How did you come to that conclusion.

I never made that claim. How did YOU come to that conclusion?

You're suggesting I'm wrong. Are you just guessing?

I'm not suggesting that, either. Let me break it down for you.

YOU claimed that there are now 5,000 fewer, what was it, ****heads in the world?

I simply asked how you knew that every single one of those were ****heads and that there weren't at least a few that should be alive today. That's all I want to know.

Wikipedia says there are roughly 800,000 police officers with the power to arrest you in the US. If we assume that all 5,000 people killed by police were killed by different police officers (not really a safe assumption), that would mean that a little over half a percent (~0.625%) of all police officers kill one person during one calendar year.

Obviously, following the Ferguson story the WP has published the statistics of cops’ murders. The article states that there is no reliable data on the number of civilians who are killed by police officers each year.
I tried to find this information on my own, but I didn’t manage to find reliable or full statistics on the issue. Still, here are some sites with the info:
US Police Have Killed Over 5,000 Civilians Since 9/11
Fatal Encounters | A step toward creating an impartial, comprehensive and searchable national database of people killed during interactions with law enforcement
Anyway, it’s undeniable that such information is being hidden from the public, and if you want to get something solid, you need to do a research of your own.
At the same time, I must say, I understand the people in Ferguson in their outrage, for this is definitely not the first case, and no the last one. Just remember the recent story of the 12-year-old. How many are to follow? Can we stop them? Should we follow the example of Ferguson?
Why have Leftist judges in Missouri not released the juvenile record of Michael Brown? By law, after the person is dead, his juvie records should be make public.

Of course Big'Mike was gangbanger, a filthy and racist rapper and an unsuccessful cop killer.

Gangsters, like Gentle Giant Michael Brown are responsible for up to 80% of murders in the US each year. What has our Great Leader BO said to these people?

    "Stay the course."

Re: FBI reports 27 cops were killed last year. But how many civilians...

It would seem that a lot of people distrust the police. Let me put it to you this way... 9/11 was 13 years ago, so 5,000 civilians dead in 13 years comes to 384 deaths/year. Google says that 150 cops are killed in the line of duty each year. So.... to me 384 criminals being killed versus 150 cops being killed is not a bad situation. Watching the "peaceful protesters" in Ferguson taunt men in body armor and carrying assault rifles just goes to show that some people are incredibly stupid, and deserve what they get when they provoke cops or involve themselves in dangerous situations. Cops are human, and it's easy to play Monday-morning quarterback judging the reactions that someone made in a split-second decision when their life was on the line. Don't charge a cop when you are unarmed. Don't draw a toy gun on a cop when they tell you to put your hands up. If I am ever pulled over I plan to comply with the officer's instructions in a polite manner, and then discuss any issues I have with the encounter in a court of law.
