Absolutely not. But they sure do love to play the victim when they have to. Not in reference to Darren Wilson. Officers have beat people for lack of respect. No crime but lack of respect. Then charge people with assault of an officer after the beating. You may have a badge. But if you disrespect a citizen you should expect to get disrespected back. There is no law against that. The abuse of power is rampant In the black community

There are laws against abuse of civil rights. The officers that beat Rodney King were convicted in federal court.

Well, you are advocating the public being able to fight with police...I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would say that is ok...In fact, I don't really think that you believe that at all, but instead are just trying to get a rise out of people..
 
No I'm not trying to get a rise out of people. I'm merely stating things that I have seen with my own 2 eyes. I don't know where you live or what you do. But the cops I've seen were mostly arrogant, and seem to think the badge they have on granted them some kind of immunity to behave in a disrespectful way. Maybe where you live the cops that are dispatched are very nice gentleman doing there jobs. But where a lot of blacks live they don't get those gentleman. I have witnessed the type of things over and over that have stuck in my mind. when your shaking someone's hand while a cop happens to be in the area pulls up on you. Maybe drive up on the sidewalk. Not exaggerating. And check to see if you passed the person drugs. searches you. Finds nothing. And then talks to you in a oh well what are you going to do about it tone. People get pissed. People seem to think that cops are professionals 24/7 out of the day. They get mad, they curse, They can be that guy that puts a finger in your face and dares you to touch them. It almost feels like the bully waiting for you after school feel. Unfortunately one of those days you decide you can't take it anymore. Know one is advocating fighting with the police dude. Sometimes your defending yourself wether you can understand that or not.

I have throughout my life lived in a host of places, and even countries for that matter...I have seen policing activities in Europe, as well as growing up in Michigan, to living near Baltimore for 20 years, and now in the south...Cops, are cops where ever you are...While I do agree that there are some with horrible attitudes, and probably shouldn't be in a job like that, the vast majority put up with more crap than you or I would ever put up with...

There are avenues to pursue complaints against that sort of behavior...Most forces don't want relations like that, it makes their jobs harder...But, I get the feeling that you are injecting your own experiences, and perceptions into what you *think* went on, and relying on that bias to shape what you think happened that day between Officer Wilson, and Michael Brown on the street...Regardless how you feel, it is anecdotal at best, and has nothing to do with the facts of the Brown case....

Initiating a fight with an on duty, uniformed police officer, and trying to take his weapon is in no way self defense, I don't care how you try to spin it....

Lets be honest here.

Their biggest issues do not revolve around what the Police, Society or the white man is doing to them.

Their biggest issues come from inside their own communities

Blame is just another way of side stepping responsibility. By blaming everything on something thats " systemic " there's no way to adress the specific issue's that are really causing the problems.

And so black communities continue to suffer

Tell us the break down of the jurors decision, was it 9-3, 10-2, 11-1, or 12-0. You seem to be so smart with the racial motivations with the decision, you must have a source to your BS. Show us...or are you just acting like a 15 year old on purpose?
 
The jurors listened to several eye witnesses (not the ones who liked to be in front of a camera) who happened to be Black, and they confirmed the facts that Wilson stated, and the forensics evidence.
No doubt they had impact on the jurors....and probably just not the white jurors.

By other black people please! Read your history. Do you really think **** is fair and it's just black people being angry for nothing. The things you are speaking are easier said than done. 50 and sixty years ago is not that long ago, blacks are playing catch up. So you believe blacks weren't thrown in jail for cheap labor years ago. It's still happening. Blacks started out here with broken roots and split up family's. But blacks are supposed to magically get grounded and plant their roots to grow in such short time. Whites enslaved blacks, set them free, and told them to survive the best you can. While not being able to vote. run for office. Not Mayor, governor or congressman. Blacks have tried to get it together. Look up black wall street. Y'all burned it down. How many times do blacks have to start from scratch. You can say that was then,this is now. But don't they say never forget the past so it won't repeat it self. Whites kill each other as much as blacks do. I'm typing on a phone so I can't get this out right. All these criminal acts blacks do. stealing, killing, vandalism, lynching! Blacks don't do that. Burning churches! Blacks don't do that either. But to break it all down. Blacks learned from the best WHITE FOLKS.

Over 90 percent of black people are killed by other black people.

Black crime per capita outpaces all other races by a HUGE margin and Michael Brown is dead because of his own poor choices.

Substantial issues that are isolated to the black community get ignored because of people like YOU who chose to perpetuate this victim mentality.

So the problems never get fixed. Its easier for race hustlers and ignorant people to perpetuate this narrative of victimization rather than adress the REAL reasons why things never seem to improve in the inner city areas.

If you actually gave a crap about the plight of African Americans you would be honest enough to call attention to the behaviours and actions that perpetuate poverty and crime.

Blacks are playing " catch up " ? No, black on black crime statistics show that they are NOT catching up at all.

The charges of " systematic racism " and " victimization of 150 year old slavery " haven't actually improved things.

How about you help change the narrative to something that might actually produce positive results.

Nah, I don't think so...If anything, those like you whom have the loudest voices, continually cryin' about how the white system holds a brother down, through PC crap have cowed the majority of people into not being silent, or even ruling in dishonest ways so as to avoid trouble...You want less black involvement in the justice system, start stemming the tide of crime that comes out of the black community.
