Look, there are sociological reasons that blacks are more prone to rioting. It's because the existence of systemic privilege makes perceived injustice a threat to blacks collectively. That whites do not suffer such a motive is hardly any indication of them being smart or righteous.

She is ignoring the existence of systemic privilege in order to claim the white rioters are better people than the black ones. It's racist BS.

I think you are right. SOme of them did undoubtedly get something that most of us did not get. Like a socio economic status that we did not get from birth. Or the disadvantaged end of shallow gene pool. Or a parent without proper training or skills needed to get us on the right path and keep us there. Or role models who instead of showing us the positive behaviors instead showed us the wrong behaviors to be modeled and followed. Or the absence of a good education. Or the absence of good work habits. Or various addictions and bad habits.

Yes, you are right - they got something that most of us did not get.

You think blacks rioting and destroying their city in the name of "justice" is perfectly understandable. It says a lot right there about what you think of their ability to act like adults. Me, I believe they have the capacity to make their voices heard without pillaging their towns.

That was YOUR statement. I said OF ANY RACE. There are people with IQ's in the 80's. In fact it might shock you but if 100 is the average, then a hell of a lot of people - half to be exact are at 100 or below. Nothing racist about that.

The sad reality is that when people of low IQ are compounded by all sorts of other social problems like racism and other factors that hit minorities especially hard besetting them ad handicapping them - it does indeed become a factor that is very very hard to overcome unlike white people who do not have those same factors in addition to a lower IQ.

Sorry, but that is just the way it is and to deny the role race and racism plays in it is the worst sort of RACISM of all.

The other route would have been to charge and arraign and set for preliminary hearing. And the answer to your question is No. I'm always surprised that prosecutors don't go the route of grand jury more often.

Well for my two cents I would love it to be the world she believes exists rather then the one that does exist. It certainly helps one explain all the unpleasantness of life. But being a Pollyanna does not solve any problems or help people who are already disadvantaged and badly need help.

And I kind of like unicorns - especially the ones with the pink manes. :cool:

This is 2014...not 1962. You are really going to argue that people who are black do not have access to the SAME opportunities that a white person would of the same socioeconomic rung? You can't prove that? You don't have evidence of that? Then it is a garbage theory.

Meanwhile, those of us who ACTUALLY believe someone with a darker skin tone is equal...and doesn't need to be treated special or different because of their skin color.
