Republican-led report debunks Benghazi theories and accusations

Show me where in those 7 reports where it was proven that a spontaneous protest caused the the of 4 Americans.


Before you celebrate the cover up of the deaths of four dead Americans you should consider that the Benghazi Embassy had been attacked before.

And that everyone including the Red Cross pulled out of that Terrorist hell hole EXCEPT the US.

And the Obama administration didn't even have a backup plan in place. No offsite military assets capable of defending a Embassy that had a 12 foot hole blown through its wall 2 weeks before.

No rescue plan. Nothing.

For a Embassy that had already been attacked.

Unbelievable.

Why would you call it an Embassy?
We had no Embassy in Benghazi.
We didn't even have a Consulate there.

It was a CIA mission.

Nah, I'm pretty sure the Obama administration knew the second the attack started that it was a Terrorist attack.

Leon Panetta was pretty sure it was a Terrorist attack from day one.

If the Benghazi EMBASSY wasn't a " Embassy " and instead was a " CIA " installation why did AMBASSADOR Stevens continue to contact the STATE DEPARTMENT for more security ?

Why did Hillary Clinton accept the four flag draped coffins of the Americans she got Killed when they were flown back to the States ?

A building is not an embassy just because an ambassador is in it. It was a consulate. Do some research. Consulates are also under the State Department (not capitalized).

Why do you continue to want to place blame on Obama and Hillary when, after 7 investigations and hearings, they found nothing?

Give it up, this isn't the hill you get to crucify them on, much to your disgust.

I see that the cry "Benghazi!" has been replaced with "Gruber!". Comedy gold.

If you went to the State Department website, you would find no listing for Benghazi having a Consulate there. All Consulates around the world are listed on State Dept. website. None at Benghazi. Is was a mission.

They have used that term, but there was never one there.

" In December 2011, the Under Secretary for Management approved a one-year
continuation of the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi, which was never a consulate and never formally notified to the Libyan government. Stevens arrived in Tripoli
on May 26, 2012, to replace Cretz as Ambassador."

Cool. I got hired a few times to work at overseas embassies, but the timing was never right for me, plus the uncertainty of where you would be sent...(Bermuda is better than Benin)

If you think there were more investigations by the House under Obama than under Bush, more politics of the Republican House under Obama than the Democrat House under Bush, you're just a blind political hack.

And before you start doing your happy dance, you might want to actually read the findings of the report and wait until the entire investigation is completed. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I'm prepared to wait and see.
