It didn't blow any holes in anything... There were violent protests over that video going on in Cairo and other parts of the Middle East, and even if Obama assumed the Benghazi attacks were also due to those protests at the time, it doesn't change the fact that by the end of the night, he was told by Panetta and General (forgot his name) that it was a terrorist attack, not a protest that got out of hand.

In fact, just a few days after the attack, Democratic Senator Carl Levin, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee said to the media after receiving a briefing from the Defense Secretary that “it was a planned, premediated attack.”

Obama lied... That's something you're just going to have to live with.
Except, of course, your own right wing nuts in the Republican party disagree with you. Tell me, do you also believe the moon landings were faked and that we have the bodies of dead aliens in Area 51?

Nope. I'm pretty sure that I recently read there will be another investigation. Hearing to begin in December.

Reaching again....Your own OP went on to say:

"But the investigation also found the security at the diplomatic outpost was weak and it described a "flawed" process used to create talking points for House Intelligence Committee members and then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, whose public statements after the attack incensed critics who said the administration was avoiding calling the attack terrorism."

    and...

"The Select Committee on Benghazi received the Intelligence committee's report on the Benghazi terrorist attack (in August), and has reviewed it along with other committee reports and materials as the investigation proceeds," spokesman Jamal D. Ware said in a statement. "It will aid the Select Committee's comprehensive investigation to determine the full facts of what happened in Benghazi, Libya before, during and after the attack and contribute toward our final, definitive accounting of the attack on behalf of Congress."

So, excuse me if I'd like to wait until the Select committee finishes their work...

And the wing-nuts must be really disappointed. This "investigation" didn't even uncover a blow job.

BTW, I appreciate you backing up my claim by showing that the lie about a the video was the thing that bothered me the most.
Is it possible that the CIA was lying to the WH? After all, they were the only ones who knew what really happened and they were the ones' who made the talking point emails for the WH.

The undertold story is that Rep. Jason Chaffetz exposed the entire CIA operation in Benghazi on Cspan just a few weeks after the attack. To this day there still isn't any US presence in Libya thanks in large part to the GOP keeping the story in the news and making sure that Ambassadors Stevens death was in vain.

    As they should...just like Watergate.

How's that "spontaneous demonstration" thing working for you?

And, please enlighten us on what's happening to the terrorists who killed Ambassador Stephens and two others? Obama said he would find them and do whatever\, sent FBI agents who came up with the fact Benghazi is in Libya and came back with great tans and serious hashish.

They got away with it.....terrorists killed Americans in the service of their country and Obama did squat..

    Possible yes.

And cause of investigation...national security was compromised and anyone who committed a wrongdoing needs to be exposed.

With that idea I am surprised you are NOT demanding congress get to the bottom of who is lying instead of chanting "old news" for two years
