    what's the hurry?
why can he not wait, resignation in hand, to tender it immediately after the grand jury decision, either way this plays out

What hurry are you talking about?
The decision is supposed to come out tomorrow. Even if it doesn't it is best to be prepared.
And honestly. Did you think he was going to continue working the streets of Ferguson?

in no way could i see that happening

but why the rush to resign if - as was indicated - he thinks it will look inappropriate. isn't that what we would want to avoid
either way, have the resignation to tender immediately upon the grand jury's decision

    And again? What rush?
There is no rush. Being prepared is one thing, rushing is a whole other.

All you are doing is talking nonsense.

I don't know that the officer made a mistake and will wait for the grand jury's decision.

In the meantime, no matter what that decision is, Wilson's career, at least in Ferguson, has been ruined, and his family isn't safe. And his family's not being safe is appalling.

It is hard to blame Wilson at this point. If he is charged, it will be a lengthy and costly trial based more on perception of his character than the physical evidence (that will be true both locally or if the Federal level steps in on civil rights charges.) If he is charged and found innocent odds are more riots and so forth. If he is not charged, he and his family will be a walking target for the rest of their lives. Because of the notoriety alone it will be difficult for Wilson to stay at Ferguson as a police officer and function as such.

The decision is coming tomorrow as in today (Friday) or Saturday?

Exactly where did he admit anything?
