ISIS isn't a country, it's a terrorist group that didn't exist before G.W. Bush invaded Iraq.

They can vote away, but a commander in chief who doesn't want an substantive action means nothing will happen.

Under Obama its grown to a defacto state, complete with its own govt structure, education and healthcare system and territory.

That war was lost in 2011 when Obama retreated and there is no going back. Islamists have gained remarkably since Obama's retreat and they will continue to make gains on several fronts. Here's another more benign, yet effective, method. If it was Christianity being taught in the school perhaps a bigger fuss might have been made. http://www.barenakedislam.com/2014/1...the-classroom/

Using a new label du jour for those bad guys wanting to establish a caliphate changes nothing. Iraq is wide open because Iraq is no longer under the thumb of a powerful dictator with a strong security force. Our acting as that strong security force "works" only so long as we keep doing so. There is no exit strategy for Iraq, just as there is none for Afghanistan - Vietnamization does not work.

This is is a job for the Army supported by the Air Force. Before that happens we need to determine what is in this nation's interest.

We can stop our attack on Americans in this country by shutting down the Soviet-style EPA. We can increase our energy production here so we have less need to be involved in the Middle East. We can protect our electric grid from ground attack.

And we can choose to leave Americans who have been captured by terrorist organizations to be tortured and beheaded.

    It is up to us.

Please don't let those pesky facts ruin a perfectly good delusion.

And didn't exist in any meaningful way when the troops were in Iraq. They only took hold and gained territory after Obama pulled the troops in 2011.
