I doubt it will be genuinely fixed until a new President is elected. No world leader can possibly trust the whimsical leadership of Barrack Obama but, I believe, they will respond after 2016. We can hope that minimal harm is done before that time because the Islamists are aware of that date also. The Islamists are, oddly enough, also winning the propaganda wars.
One thing that can't be said-is that its hard to win against Obama.

Lack of action isn't the problem. Just when it seemed reasonably safe we did a calculated troop withdrawal and then bam, suddenly there's a big new bad guy to deal with. If vigilance requires sustaining support resources at current levels or higher indefinitely, our nation will collapse. Look at how the past 10-15 years have affected our country. We simply can't go another 10-15.

It's never ending. We were always in over our heads. That's pride for you.
Vigilance means this war never was and never will be about punching hitler and ending the war by the time dancing with the stars is on. Ironically there is a fools hope there but not how you appear to think there is.

Lack of action IS action, especially when POTUS was TOLD how this was going to turn out. He pulled out for votes, and lost Iraq to terrorists.

This war is going to take decades, maybe centuries. Get used to it because you are already in it like it or not.

You keep regurgitating this lie. Can you tell us who signed the withdrawal agreement after major combat operations were finished? I'll wait. You can start here:

The withdrawal was pushed forward to 2011 to give GWB's successor a free hand to make his own call. No responsible official believed a complete withdrawal was coming. BHO did that himself. That plus his hesitation in Syria allowed ISIS to come into being.

He IS doing something though...right? Where is the rest of the world? Where is the rest of his party?

All the GOP has to do is declare war. All they have to do is do something MORE or BETTER than what he is doing. What he is doing ALONE.

What is "you and people like you?" Don't get personal with me.

He's doing it a day late and a dollar short, he isn't leading the charge. And he's not doing it alone, there are other nations also participating. That would mean NOT alone.

That is just so pathetic and sad. We know there were experienced people watching this who knew better, who knew this to be untrue, including the Islamists, but the people bought into it and all that was gained was lost. It is a modern tragedy for sure.
