Would you support the USA launching a massive 1st and 2nd strike against Russia and China?

    That would end this conversation.

I predict that the USA would come out on top.

There is no winner in a nuclear holocaust. MAD or mutually assured destruction was the name used to describe our defense/offense posture during the Cold War. Nothing has changed.

Eh no big deal. He's just bringing his bath toys with him to Australia.

Every Navy is ridiculously vulnerable. A large ship Navy is a overpriced dinosaur like the Calvary was 100 years ago.

Now Putin shows off his Navy to the assembled, including NATO countries.

You think they are saying something about the "leader of the free world"? Would either have done either under Reagan, Clinton or Bush?

BTW, what the Chinese did was a deliberate insult, it was the diplomatic equivalent of slapping your wife in public.

    >" You may not be able to tour the White House because of the spending increase slowdown from sequestration, but the Obama family can tour Africa for the small sum of $60 or $100 million.
President Barack Obama will hold bilateral meetings with leaders in Senegal, South Africa, and Tanzania between June 26 and July 3, and the wife and kids are going along for the ride.
The Obama family vacation will include air transportation for 56 vehicles, among them 14 parade limousines, trucks carrying bulletproof glass to install at hotels, and two ambulances: one for dealing with biological and chemical contaminants, one with x-ray equipment.
Adding to the costs are 100 Secret Service Agents for the first three cities on the itinerary, 65 agents at the fourth, and 80 to 100 more to guard the Obama family 24/7.
Further, a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier functioning as a hospital comes with the package, and fighter jets will patrol the area 24/7..."<

Usually I don't leap on stuff like that, it really is old news.

However I offer this.....in Russia they are talking about their president and how tough he is, either for or against.

Here, the first Observation is about Obama's vacations.....not how decisive and tough he is, there to make the right decisions based on intelligence, but learning about it from TV.
