Well where's the report about kids whose parents DO have insurance and don't take them to the doctor routinely?
A screaming comes across the sky.
It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

The article does not give any reasonable explanation, only guesses. So, do you think itís because of Obamacare malfunction that the system is being destroyed? Or is it the states being resistant to the orders from the federal government spoil everything? Or is just the fact that parent are too irresponsible? Maybe, some other reason?
A government operated system doesn't work. What's the solution? Another government operated system?

All this is, of course, the fault of the current administration in Washington, and not of the (bleep!)ing irresponsible parents who have kids they don't take care of.

Oh, yes, and they don't check their kids homework or see to it that they get to school on time ready to learn. That is obviously the fault of the schools.
The fault of the schools and really evil teachers.

Filed in the drawer labeled "they pay for their own so we don't care".

But really, I'd think Alaska sounds about right. Short on doctors to begin with, and getting to one from the villages may be problematic. Folks are stuck in one place for months at a time.

many children are also not doing their homework. the blame does not lie solely with the schools.

No, that's clearly Obama's fault. He's in charge, you know.

As you might have noticed, I'm not blaming anyone for this problem. I'm asking questions, offering options and inviting to discuss. So I would be glad to here your point of view on the problem.

This reason seems to me the most logical and obvious too. And while no one can, of course, force parents into taking children to check-ups, others are forced to pay for these absences. The money is just... wasted.

I can't say that these thing remove parents from caring for their chindren. These things just provide citizens with more opportunities plus give the parents opportunity to spwnd more quality time with their kids.

An effective manager doesn't invent a new system when the old doesn't work. First of all, he finds the reasons that caused the malfucntion - and fixes them. I thing that what the government should do.

I, for one, would like to here your point of view, seeing as how you started the thread.

Do you really believe that Medicaid spends money when a parent *doesn't* bring their child to the doctor?
