US Sailors Victims of Videotaped Attack in Istanbul

To me, I see Turkey as a shining example of why Christianity is better than Islam.

When it was a Christian nation, Constantinople was the capital of Europe in many ways. It was the wealthiest, and in many ways greatest city on earth.

After the Muslims took over, the place went to ****. Today, Turkey is the poorest country in Europe. It's so trashed the EU won't even accept them.

To me, that's God's way of showing which side he prefers.

Hurriyet Daily News - Suspected attackers of US sailors in Turkey freed as reaction against incident mounts

Members of a Turkish ultra-nationalist youth organization who were taken into custody over assaulting U.S. sailors in Istanbul have been released by the prosecution. Twelve members of the Turkish Youth Union (TGB), who were accused of attacking three U.S. Navy sailors by putting sacks on their heads on Nov. 12, were sent to Istanbul’s Çağlayan courthouse in the early hours of Nov. 13 on allegations of injuring, insult and violation of the public demonstration law. However the prosecutor executing the investigation has released the suspects from the courthouse without taking their deposition, Doğan News Agency has reported.

I agree,as an atheist I adore Christians :D :D

Who made the international incident of this?

Any American who advocates for any kind of official American response as a result of this or even thinks that this incident somehow reflects on Turkey as a whole.

The only acceptable response from a rational human being is, "Hmmm... Well that sucks. I wonder what's on HBO?"

Just so there's no confusion, I was wrong initially in blaming this on the Sailors.

They're really just innocent victims, both in the attack upon themselves, and now in their use as pawns by ignorant chickenhawks.

Dont forget all the genocides of Christians nearby to turkey after the muslims took over-its the religion of peace!

They were innocent victims, and your first inclination was to attack them. Why do you think that is?

some americans usually believe turks hate americans.they think we have to approve every politics of USA.interest

No, you actually hate americans. And you prove it by attacking them on your streets for doing nothing. Any apology?

And do you have a link for this supposed American attack on Turkish soldiers in Northern Iraq? As far as I know, there were never any Turkish soldiers in northern Iraq or anyplace else in Iraq. You have to stop believing this anti-American bull**** propaganda.

Two wrongs don't make a right. That american guy didn't do anything wrong.

Everbody should protest whatever they want but in a civilized way.[/QUOTE

l see that but turkish soldiers didnt do anything either.sorry there is no civility in international arena.

You persist with this 'Turkish soldiers' bull****. Let's see some link to this supposed event.

This incident does reflect on Turkey as a whole. They may be the most anti-American country in the world, and that's saying something.

Yes, there are a lot of anti-Americans in this world and a lot of pro-Americans. But is there anyone who is 'pro-Turkey'?

Medusa?

Attacking the local soldiers is just lazy. These random soldiers were not responsible for Iraq, they are just doing their job. Probably the biggest problem in the entire world is that people attack convenient scapegoats instead of their real problem. You have a problem with what happened in Iraq, come to America and beat up Bush. You have a problem with the current government in Turkey, blame Erdogan not the entire country.

Beat up Saddam Hussein...oh wait, he's pushing up daisies. Oh, well, problem solved.

it is called revenge.yankees had done the same thing to our soldiers in northern ıraq in 2003

now yankees are thugs ?

What the hell are you talking about?

I agree,as an atheist I adore Christians :D :D

That's very good if you to say, thanks :peace

I hope the secularists return to power in Turkey, it must be crazy that half of your country wants to progress and join europe and the west, while the other half wants to hold the country hostage.

Yeah, along with thousands of civilians and soldiers. Violence isn't ever going away, but people could stop being so damn lazy and bringing unrelated people into their conflicts.

Were the Turks in uniform snd carrying propet identification?

The Turks Enter Iraq - TIME They moved in to cause unrest and to give Turkey a reason to move in to the region, very similar to what Russia has just done in Ukraine.

Apparently it was put into a movie popular in Turkey...
A couple of years later, in 2005, a movie called "Valley of the Wolves: Iraq" was released in Turkey. It used the Hood Event as a starting point to build up the "based on a true story" element, but then morphed into propaganda with scenes featuring American troops massacring civilians at a wedding and American doctors harvesting the organs of Iraqi's to send to Jews in Tel Aviv.

Only a matter of time before Turkey and Iran break up Iraq. It's a bigger fear for most Iraq's in Baghdad than ISIS is.
