Mornin Ockham. For some reason he thinks people want him to get the job done.....Is that a promise he wont be out on the golf course so much?

"I hear you"?! Isn't that his job? Watching him squirm in his speech on address to the nation Wednesday I was taken by his inability to annunciate the word "to". He says "ta", "We have ta get better" for example. He is The President of the United States and it is sickening that he reduces the office to that of a street peddler.

Obviously, Republicans had a good night. And they deserve credit for running good campaigns. Beyond that, I’ll leave it to all of you and the professional pundits to pick through yesterday’s results.

What stands out to me, though, is that the American people sent a message, one that they’ve sent for several elections now. They expect the people they elect to work as hard as they do. They expect us to focus on their ambitions and not ours. They want us to get the job done. All of us in both parties have a responsibility to address that sentiment.

Still, as president, I have a unique responsibility to try and make this town work. So, to everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you. To the two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you, too......snip~

    Transcript: President Obama
Odd, but until he took the helm, we've always had leaders who negotiated and compromised for the good of the country. Even Clinton did a 180, and is now fondly remembered as a good President. I wonder how Obama intends to "make the town work?" Telling Reid to shut the Senate down wasn't a really great move, IMO! That caused complaints from his own party, let alone the Republicans, and we saw the results Tuesday when the Senate changed hands by a larger than expected margin!

He doesn't like to face reality if things don't go his way - hence his reference to "hearing the 2/3rds," which is just spin but it sounds good to losers - so no. We all know he's going to continue to try to do whatever he feels like doing, regardless of what anyone else thinks, including his own party.

What Republican ran Congress would that be?

    They haven't been seated yet.

That he still believes in what he started in 2008. Trully he is a Narcissist. The signs, behavior and his own worda. Bears that out.

Although.....when he comes back with that Pen line. Someone needs to check his ass with the Question. Do you think you are above the Law? As in whoa Mr President, did you just say you were above the law. Right there in front of the Media coverage. Then watch how much stuttering he does.
That is the part that bothered me most of all. He was saying that in order to say that this election was not valid as far as he was concerned.

There was not 100% turn out in 2008 when he was elected either, so does that invalidate his election?

Couldn't Obama let the bills sit on his desk, or in his trash can, as the case may be, and not do anything with them like Reid did?

Is he required to approve or veto a bill on his desk?

Heya Mason Not to mention that he thinks all 2/3rds are for him.

Later that day he talked about it was still to early to tell about THE strategy to defeat ISIS. Wherein he got that part wrong to.....as its his strategy. Not that of the experts involved.

Are you suggesting that the GOP is not currently the majority in congress? I must have missed the memo. My bad.
