I did a quick google, and there are several articles written about this. I am a poor "linker", sorry.

HuffPo Green shows an article from 5/17/2010 by the blogger Kevin Grandia about fracking, and he talks about Cheney's Loophole, the same thing I'm talking about, regarding exemptions from CWA for the frackers.

Grandia says that the meeting took place in 2005, but I had thought it was earlier than that.

I have heard the same thing as you but can't really seem to solidly verify it so now I am beginning to wonder if it is true or just a hatchet job.

Hold on...you want people to accept this source, when clearly you wouldn't accept anything from the energy industry opposing this view. So why should anyone put stock in such a biased source?

It's a well established physicians group. Good enough for a Nobel prize. Almost all of the commenter's have a "MD" in their name.

Why do you think that they are not reliable?

Link me some energy sites that oppose this view so that I can see if they measure up.

Edit to add: Was Cathy Behr faking her respiratory problems? It's the same headaches, nausea, and vomiting that home owners in NW Denton have been complaining about to their doctors.

Many stories have been written, sorry I don't have a link for you to attack, Cheney met with his various amigos in the oil & gas industry, in San Diego as I recall, and one of the end results of that (secret) meeting was that the chemicals used in the fracking process would be considered proprietary and exempt from certain provisions of the Clean Water Act.
You don't have a link, because you're wrong.

Appeal to authority. Read their 'about' page. I won't engage your strawman.

How do you explain the thousands of people who work on frac sites, everyday, who don't get sick?
