The government doesn't necessarily share your enthusiasm for Gibsons and American made products. Gibson Guitar Wails on Federal Raid - WSJ

Perhaps things will change in this area as well.

You are making it up as you go along. The republican house of reps sent dozens of bills with bipartisan support to the senate and they were tabled by Harry Reid and never came up for a vote.

For the sake of financing Obamacare they have robbed over half a trillion dollars from medicare and lowered the reimbursement rate to doctors who treat Medicare patients to less then it costs to treat them. That is creating a doctor shortage in regards to Medicare patients. Obama really? we've been losing jobs to overseas labor since Reagan. He encouraged it, helped it, and set the wheels in motion. Right-wingers want everything for as cheap as possible. As close as you can get to slavery, they're happy.

Never at the rate that has been seen since "Hussein" Obola has been in office.

I'm aware of that raid. I just purchased a new model they came out with. a J15, which is their way of making amends so to speak, Some damage control. It's a responsible and ecologically friendly guitar made of all American tone woods.

Gibson's is doing damage control? Judging by the WSJ article it is the DOJ who should be doing damage control. Or perhaps the election helped in that area.

Gibson agreed to pay a $300,000 fine for the ebony from Madagascar that they acquired illegally. They also acknowledged their violations. They would've went after Taylor, Collings or Martin too. they weren't targeting Gibson. This is nothing new, Brazilian Rosewood is been illegal in this country since 1969. Going to blame Obama for that too?
