You are essentially blaming the right for WANTING to do what the left has actually accomplished.
You do realize the economy went into a tailspin at the end of the Bush administration, and there were more pressing things to deal with than wages like unemployment, loss of health insurance, unemployment, people losing their homes, and a congress that refused to work with the president right?

Your accusation is like complaining about no pay raise when your place of employment is in danger of bankruptcy.

    You've summed up the problem.

The GOP won't get anything done because they will refuse to pass laws in a bipartisan manner.

You probably didn't mean to actually say this, and will backtrack now and claim it's Obamas fault, but you let the real deal slip...the GOP has little interest in running the country if they can't do it their way.
Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

Yep, the economy was in a tailspin, that is predominantly why such an open socialist like Obama was elected. The problem though is that his lofty rhetoric, and greek pillars were just show.

He quickly projected that he had NO interest in actually making anything better for struggling Americans. This was clear when his first order of business was to bring in a former jailbird communist to construct a laundry list of progressive wants and ram it through against the wishes of the people and call it a healthcare bill.

He also projects this lie of his when he counts making America better, and increasing opportunity not by actually creating good jobs, but rather simply not counting those long term unemployed who hav exhausted benefits and putting them on welfare.

He has destroyed the moral of the country with his 'America is not exceptional' rhetoric, and his seemingly endless world apology tour making America no longer a player on the world stage that need not be listened to or taken seriously.

So, could you say that Bush and repubs screwed the pooch when they failed to reign in crooks like Frank, and Dodd who ran cover for criminals like Franklin Raines who presided over the corruption of Fannie, and that this was a cause of the financial collapse? Then yes, agreed. But to elect the very incompetent, corrupt, lying machine that were actually responsible for the collapse in the first place is just plan retarded.

    We are idiocracy.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

At the time the economy went into this tailspin you do realize that the Democrats controlled both houses right? Are you trying to say that the Democratic controlled House AND Senate refused to work with the Democratic President?

But the solution to this problem is obvious, and has been since the tea party successfully knocked Cantor out of VA. Just establish a symbiotic (financial) alliance between the Libertarians and liberals and the tea party--done.

With financial support from the likes of George Soros, Google, Elon Musk, etc., the tea party could completely wipe out pols like mcconnell, lindsay graham, etc., since the tea party's rhetoric more closely matches the childish bigotries of the electorates in the aforementioned conservative states (i. e. "deport all the spics and nuke the muslums") than does the rhetoric of the establishment (Neocon) Repubs currently in power, i. e. conservatives are always going to vote for someone in favor of killing/deporting all Mexicans rather than someone who favors amnesty for them.

As for differences between the ideologies of the tea party and liberal groups, that won't be an issue since the tea party is so desperate for funding that its candidates will likely concede completely on some issues as long as they can win on the issues that matter most to their voters: deporting all non-Whites, banning all religions except Xtianity, and letting everyone buy any kind of gun he/she wants.

And once the tea party candidates are in power, we can force them to vote in our favor on issues by threatening to yank their funding if they don't. The tea party backing voters won't know anything about those votes since, as everyone knows, conservative voters only listen to rhetoric and are too dumb/lazy to pay attention to actual bills and votes.
Vermont is an "economic powerhouse"? Since when?

All 620,000 of them (0.2% of the us population), or about 270,000 households. Not to mention it ranks 50 in GDP in the US.

    ECONOMIC POWERHOUSE!!!

Classic. Ignore every single word in the post except for a silly detail.

And then pretend you win the exchange.

Win the exchange? What on Earth are you babbling about?

Go ahead and cheer on the post. I am reading the posts in this thread and that was the only thing that interested me in all the "tea partiers are bigots", "deport the Mexicans", "ban religions except Christianity", "gun grabbers" nonsense in that post was the mention of Vermont being an "economic powerhouse" (because it's a Liberal state).

So I'm interested in knowing when Vermont became an "economic powerhouse".

Does it upset you that I asked a question?
