Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker survived a challenge from Democrat Mary Burke on Tuesday, the Republican’s latest political triumph that sets the stage for a likely 2016 presidential bid.
With about two-fifths of precincts reporting, Walker led 57 percent to 42 percent, and The Associated Press called the race.

I think Rauner is going to rout Quinn in Illinois too.

Which is good if Rauner takes a stand on budgetary issues and unions, but anything more than that ... :2sick1:

The unions attempted power grab is becoming a distant memory.

Looks like it's going to be almost a sweep.

Walker will never be President, though.

With the Walker victory my Facebook feed has been flooded with people who claim they will now be moving out of Wisconsin.

The first.

This was the third run for Walker in his third term, and progressive money behind his opposition, he may have well run for National office...Never have the national progressives put so much effort into defeating one man in local politics, and each time they were rejected. That's good news if you want prosperity for America.

But the second could be interesting too.

Because American's want to feel this again:

And under progressive collectivism it just will never happen.

A lot of people were suppose to move when Obama won. Damn housing market must still be down.

Just tell them not to move to North Carolina.

George Soros was supposed to move to Canada when GW Bush got re-elected in 2004. He of course didn't do it. Nor will the people on your FB feed. It's all hysterics.

I was just surprised that he could go up against the unions in that state, and still succeed. I do not support public employee unions, but in that part of the country, they seem to be extraordinarily popular and powerful. I'm just surprised that the dem machine didn't manage to demonize Walker enough to get him out of office.

Since he survived a recall in the heat of all that, I just didn't see his reelection now as a surprise. I support public sector unions as long as they are not allowed to go on strike. I support worker rights, but only to the extent that they do not prevent my trash from being picked up. My cans get pretty rank in the course of one week so I cannot imagine what it would be like if they sat there for several weeks, but I suspect it would involve workers from the CDC in white suits and respirators investigating a new plague.

Mostly just labor unions which should be fielding their own candidates instead of supporting the DNC and opposing the RNC.

Because American's want to feel this again:

So your pride in America is contingent on who controls the Senate?

Sorry but I have learned that when republicans start their flag waving, people tend to pay too high a price, some more individually exponentially worse than for the whole, but generally not good.

And under progressive collectivism it just will never happen.

If you cannot feel hope and pride in America when someone is trying to be more than the party of no, then your point of view is so skewed from mine that there is no way we could ever agree.

Walker's ground game is pretty badass and pretty much a battle hardened well oiled machine. Didn't expect the high margin of victory but thought he'd take it.

And the Dumbos failed to dethrone him....AGAIN!

I see a potential Walker for President in 2016.

No we surely won't agree. But, we shall see exactly who "the party of no" is when repubs start passing through the 330 some odd bills Harry Reid was blocking from a vote...

It's going to be a long 2 years for you if you don't loose the tired talking points.
