Makes perfect sense to me. Do you think you're the first person I've encountered on the Internet who was ashamed at how wrong I continually show them to be? Of course not. You're no different than posters I've seen many times in a variety of different forums. You are blindly loyal to a position and no matter how much the facts and logic show your position to be stupid, you'll stubbornly cling to it because you're terrified to admit to a stranger on the Internet you might be wrong.

You're a dime a dozen fella/lady.

Not at all. When you present common sense, I'll understand it just fine. But since your sole criteria for political common sense rests entirely on whether there is a "D" behind someone's name, it's obvious you don't care about common sense, just partisanship.

And, hey, that's your right, I suppose. It doesn't mean it won't make me laugh at the absurdity.
Amature hour psycho-analysis.

What's that have to do with the U.S. decline? Absurdity is what is inflicted on anyone who responds to your posts. Let me know when you have an intelligent point on the topic, otherwise, you don't get to waste more of my time. Have a super day!
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Having fun yet? You obviously know that Obama took off with a Democrat controlled Congress and legislation approved right after he took office. Reagan had a Democrat House and they were against his economic policies which Reagan took to the American people and sold. Please tell me this is an act on your part?

No analysis offered. Just speaking what's obvious.

What's that have to do with the U.S. decline?
I'm sorry, didn't you mean U.S. DEFICIT decline?

Do you see how it's so hard to call your posts anything but partisan, when you can't even bring yourself to use the full title of the thread when it might sound good for a Democrat?

Absurdity is what is inflicted
Absurdity is when someone plays team politics. I don't care what party someone is from, I just care about the truth. You, however, can't even quote a full thread title if it might reflect well on a Democrat.

Here, we'll try a little test. Prove me wrong in your next post, prove you are not simply partisan. In your next post, use this absolutely 100% accurate phrase, with no additions or modifiers:

"Under President Obama, the deficit has decreased by roughly 60%. 10 million private sector jobs have been created. GDP has risen from decreases to over 3% increases and the stock market has risen over 150%."

All of those statements are true. Prove you're not the partisan I claim you are. Give it a shot.

The stimulus may have made the recovery go a little quicker, but not much, and at a great cost in debt.
I know you don't see how it is relevant. The only thing that matters in your world is the party to which the president belongs. Therefore, when Reagan got Congress to pass tax cuts for some Americans, the recovery was due to his policies. When Obama got Congress to pass tax cuts for some Americans, it clearly was the Republican president who preceded him who got the ball rolling and the recovery under way.

Hard dealing with people who don't understand civics. If he cannot get an economic plan passed through Congress how is that being asleep at the wheel?

So what you are saying is that Reagan, much like Obama, was a piss poor leader.

I agree!

Im not a Republican. Lets stick to the facts. Which are that nearly all of the major actions taken to deal with the recession were done before Obama took office (by a DEMOCRAT congress, REPUBLICAN President and whatever Fed.). The stimulus had little impact on GDP, and the recession was receeding by the time he took office and over quite soon after.

OMG, we need to stop Obama from spending us into ruin!!

Oh, wait.... the deficit is SHRINKING? Whodathunkit! I guess he's NOT the spender in chief as he's been labeled by the consistent and reliable deficit increasing Republicans.
Lowest level since 2008 is unprecedented?

Although I will say I am very glad that although debt is incredibly high, it is not increasing as it was before.
