All you have is delusional fantasy. The only thing the AG said was the buck stopped with the guy.

    Enough said.
So in your world there is a difference between the buck stops here and responsibility?

Do you also see a difference between the number six and eight minus two..... or three plus three ..... or half of twelve .... or five plus one.... or a half dozen .... or 24 divided by 4?

yeah - you said enough. and that was yesterday.

When were you appointed the spokesperson or psychological analyst for Mike Turzai? The guy was advancing a political agenda to benefit his party and said so pure and simple. Any supposed motivations you want to ascribe to him is just lipstick on the pig and changes nothing.

Lets deal with reality and history instead of hypotheticals.

This discussion should not be about one incident or even several incidents. The issue here is given the hundreds of millions of votes cast in this country does the level of voter fraud rise to the level where we need to adopt a system of voter ID given the risks involved and the already announced intent to use it to the benefit of politicians from one party?

This is the reality. Someone committed a crime by fraudulently casting a vote. The ONLY reason it was detected is the real citizen also tried to vote. If the system is working "perfectly", as you stated, how is that possible?

My point is, as I've said several times, is that Southern ownership of racism is very debatable. I've posted several links to support my argument. Your pards have posted zero.

The system worked in the case you presented.

The over all system is not perfect in that it does not prevent all voter fraud. But a standard of perfection is a fools standard that humans and our human based systems which involve human behavior can never hope to achieve. The issue here is not one of perfection in all cases but rather given the hundreds of millions of votes cast in this country does the level of voter fraud rise to the level where we need to adopt a system of voter ID given the risks involved and the already announced intent to use it to the benefit of politicians from one party?

I've read the thread. Your position is to use a straw man to fabricate a false equivalence. 1 does not equal 100. There are racial problems everywhere. But to say that just because you linked to a riot in Chicago and one in Detroit, then all the sudden that is the same as hundreds of years of slavery, post slavery lynchings of blacks that dwarf those in anywhere not in the South, slews of Jim Crow laws, etc, etc, etc... it's a joke.

You are trying to argue away history with a "but he did it too" nonsense that is nowhere even close to equal.

Slavery had nothing to do with racism.

There lynchings all over the country.

How many black folks have been lynched in the past few years?

Like you say, you can't argue away history.
