Do you mean an aid to McCotter who pleaded no contest to charges of forgery in the matter of the signatures? Seems the system did what is was supposed to do, and routed out the fraud.

Where do you get the idea that I do not want the system to be protected against voter fraud?

Got news for you Ocean - and I know this from personal experience of several years in politics - McCotter is responsible for petitions turned in under his name. And for one second you want to delude yourself into believing that he was some pure as the white snow virgin who knew nothing about this - I would love to sell you a great bridge I own at a very good price.

For the better part of three terms over 700,000 people in his Michigan district including myself had a phony representing them who never should have even been on the ballot. Over 700,000 people were cheated by election fraud. Now compare that to the penny ante incidents we have read about in this thread.

I was just going by the facts. Your personal opinion is interesting though.

I have no idea. Why would that be important as it has been part of these discussions here for years now.

Really? You know I checked, and I didn't see anything that suggests your comments are anything but your opinion. I did see where his staff guy pleaded no contest to charges stemming from the petition submissions. Perhaps you can post your facts.

    What facts are you disputing?

Do you dispute the fact that McCotter was fraudulently placed on the ballot for at least three election cycles?
Do you dispute the fact that McCotter should have have been in Congress representing that Michigan district?
Do you dispute the fact that fraud and criminality were used to put him on the ballot?
Do you dispute the fact that over 700,000 people in Michigan were cheated out of a legitimate representative for the better part of three terms?

Are you disputing these facts because none of them involve my opinion.
