Even if you're correct in your premise, and I'm certainly not saying you are ... so what? If it's not in the Constitution specifically, then it Doesn't Count?

The 24th amendment literally says that the right of citizens to vote shall not be abridged.

The second word of the 24th amendment is "right."

    The fourth is "citizens."

24th Amendment | Constitution | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute
It literally says that the right to vote shall not be abridged for failure to pay a poll tax.

No, show me the amendment that originally gauranteed the right to vote.

The right to vote wasn't gauranteed, until 1964?

No, I'm only pointing out that there's no constitutional gaurantee of the right to vote. You et.al talk as if there is. My main point being, there's no way that a voter ID law can be un-constitutional, becauae nothing in The Constitution forbids states from requiring a voter to properly identify himself.

Actually, the second and fourth words of the 15th amendment are "right" and "citizens," which pushes that back to 1870.

    You've already been proven wrong.

And yes, a voter ID law CAN be unconstitutional if it violates the 24th.

The 15th Amendment also says, "race, color, or previous condition of servitude".

Again, as I'm proving, there is no amendment gauranteeing the right to vote.

Nice try.......however not giving in to the labor unions is not suppressing wages. Collective bargaining does not translate to giving labor unions a blank check.

That is 100% baloney. Nothing about being poor or black inhibits anyone from obtaining a valid photo ID.
